Martin installed recess lighting in the living room, fixed ceiling and installed wall tv in living room and master bed room with in wall wiring to hide all the wires to tv, receiver and speakers. Quality work. Already planning to hire him for bigger work. Martin is easy to work with and very professional in handling things. Did a quality and clean job without any mess. He is very responsive.
Since Martin gets involved directly in the work..he is very busy and you will not be able to call during the week to get work done over the weekend! You need to plan in advance to work on an amicable schedule.

I am very satisfied. Very professional, courteous, and punctual service. Everyone listened to our needs. On many occasions, when something was not available or too expensive, the contractors improvised with something else to make it work and fit into our price tag. The quality of work and attention to detail is awesome. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for help with home remodeling!

We had a month before we moved into our house and a shocking amount of hideous decorating to get rid of (pink glossy paint everywhere!). Martin and his crew did a fantastic job - I really am pleased with their work, and our friends have also complimented his work. He's very honest and gave me a really thorough walk through of what they could do, and helped me make decisions as what we should do to try to stay within our budget. He does all sorts of contracting work, not just painting - we're having him back out soon to help us replace a bathroom vanity. I really recommend him and most certainly will use him again.

Martin, the owner of the business, evaluated our badly leaking, 55-year-old, tiled stall shower. Consistent with what our plumber had told us, Martin advised that the shower's lead pan was leaking and could be replaced with a vinyl liner, which would then be covered with new tile. A vertical foot of wall tile would have to be taken out in order to remove the old pan. Martin measured the shower and told us that a standard-sized, pre-fabricated, composite pan and matching wall panels would not work, because the shower was 1 1/2" too wide. He gave us an estimate for repairing the shower ($1900) but also noted that most homeowners would completely update a bathroom that was more than 50 years old. That would cost $7000 to $11,000 plus the cost of new fixtures, he said. Dead space in the corner could be used to give us a 48-inch wide shower. In response to a question about building a handicap-accessible shower with no threshold, Martin said that wouldn't work, because the base of the shower can't be lower than the floor joists. We like our old, blue wall tile, and we don't want a bigger bathroom, so Martin agreed to simply repair the shower. He advised against replacing the old glass door, because a custom-sized one would be required. He told us his schedule and suggested where to shop for new tile. We communicated by email, and Martin quickly answered several questions. The work was done during a week that was convenient for us. Martin supervised Josuf, who seemed very polite and hard-working; he spoke Polish and not much English. At the end of the first day, I put a sign on the bathroom door reminding my husband to keep the door shut so the cat wouldn't go into the bathroom and then get stuck between the shower and the wall. The next morning, Josuf saw the sign and called Martin on his cell phone for help, because he could not read it. Martin quickly arrived. I explained the situation, apologized for the confusion, and took down the sign. This was a big job that took Josuf an entire week. Dust from the job was minimized by keeping the door shut and putting drop clothes on the floor. The work was completed without delay. The tile was precisely and evenly installed. Martin urged us to contact him if we had any concerns or if any leaking occurred, but everything turned out to be fine. We would like to recommend his company to others and will certainly contact him if we have other repair work. He said he also does painting. He estimated a window replacement job for us about 2 years ago, but we went with a carpenter who gave us a lower estimate.
