He was very profession and had great attention to detail. Bill was also very flexible with our schedule, and was comfortable letting him come and go in the house as required. Did all the work himself. No subs.

Bill was very responsive - phone calls and emails. Came out and gave us an estimate (reasonable price for the work that we wanted done). I am VERY particular when it comes to painting, and he meet my expectations. The wall paper removal was a task, he even went above and beyond the agreed upon job, he did a 1st coat of primer to make sure that the walls were in good enough shape before he left. Bill is also very personable and takes pride in his work. I recommend him.

Bill was very nice to work with and was very professional. He also did my neighbor's door at the same time, so it worked out well.

Since he had great reviews on Angie's list, I had asked Bill to give an estimate to remove wall paper and paint our whole house. His estimate came in on the high side by about $2,000. I decided to go with the painter that gave the lower estimate, who did a pretty good job, but not the best at attention to detail. So, when we decided to paint our kitchen cabinets, I asked Bill for an estimate. He came in about 2x higher than the other painter, but we decided to go with Bill because he had previous good reviews and he said he had experience painting kitchen cabinets. The cabinetry attached to the wall came out really good. But, the doors are another story. There are drip marks and areas where the paint dripped and he scraped it off, but just painted over the spot with little to no sanding. So,now you can easily see where he scraped the paint off, because it is no longer a smooth surface. I asked him to come back to fix the doors and he responded very quickly and came the next day. He was very apologetic, but even after the second attempt the doors are not what I hoped for hiring a professional. When I did a search, 'This Old House' website gives step-by-step instructions on how to get the best paint finish possible. I would read this before hiring a painter to do the kitchen cabinets. I suggest having all the details worked out up front- like what will they do to ensure the surface of the doors is as smooth as possible? Ideally- not rush. Do one coat then come back in a day or two when the paint is truly dry...then sand a bit, and do a second coat.

Bill Hak did all interior work and it was perfect. He repaired our walls and took wall paper down; he did a lot under tiring circumstances as I was sick; in fact he called me to let me know that he had already called my husband as I was out of town. He was wonderful, I mean he let my dog out and we never got the furniture moved and he just moved around it. He was outstanding, absolutely outstanding. We had wall paper and those walls had to be steam coated and everything and I have got it done it before but not like he does it. He is really a master and a very nice person and he stuck to the estimate. There was an estimate and that’s exactly what he charged us. There were no problems, he is a good man. I was really pleased. I have a daughter who is in Delaware and I talked to her about it and she’s just moved and I told her that she has to sign up with Angie’s List too so that she can find some one there too. I think it’s a great, great service, I just haven’t taken the full advantage of it yet but I intend to. I can’t tell you how fast he moved on this and how he showed up when he said he was going to show up and as I said I had lot of issues going on, I was out of town but he just did exactly what he said, I was so impressed. He is just a nice person and I absolutely trusted him even when he called to tell me that he let my dog out and I thought to myself, that man is a gold mine. He really did go the extra mile for us, he probably didn’t have to but even that aside, the quality of his work was outstanding. I’ve had the same thing done before and I have had a lot of trouble with the wall paper and everything and he did whatever others couldn’t so I was really pleased with him. I read the reviews before we called him and they were on the money because he is fast and he is just really good.

Bill himself was out of town, and had Michael Giunta, who he works with, contact us. Came on Friday for an estimate and did the work the following day. He was extremely neat and personable, and didn't charge additional for the wallpaper work, which was an addon.

I wish there were higher ratings than just A. I give Bill an A++++++. He offered everything from color opinions, to color matching of the paints, to a fair estimate and superior quality work. We didn't know what we were in for in looking to have our house painted. We figured it would take weeks and it would be a drawn out process. We decided to work with Bill about two weeks ago and the job is almost complete! It was amazing turnaround, absolute professionalism, timely and thorough work and more than we imagined. We will recommend Bill to everyone we know.and we will use Bill's services again in the future. Quick, you should call Bill!
