Very professional. Floor was uneven and required leveling prior to installation. Floor leveled one day and installed the next day. Very quick installation of floor and new baseboards which highlights their experience. New floor looks beautiful!

This is the second time we used Alessandra Floors to refinish hardwood floors in our house. Last year, we had our Family Room done and were so pleased at how easy they made it that we decided to do the rest of the rooms on our first floor while we were away for the week. We wanted to match the color, as there is no break between the rooms - just a doorway. Everything went absolutely perfect. We came home from vacation to brand new refinished floors in immaculate shape. Not a bit of dust in the house. Even the base molding was cleaned! Tony kept me updated on the progress, and they matched the family room color and finish exactly. We’re so pleased With the work they did. Highly recommend their work!!

The 2 guys who came were very punctual and professional.  They worked really hard.  The stairs were a bigger job than they thought because of the carpet/staples removal but they completed it without complaint.  It just took longer than they expected.  Still got the work done and the floors look great.  I highly recommend Alessandra Floors.  

The owner of this company showed up only once; to give me the estimate! He didn?t even return after I had a problem.
When his worker arrived to do the job he acted as if doing my floor was a burden for him. He paid far more attention to his cell phone, which seemed to ring constantly, then to my floor. The work only took him a couple hours and when he left, my floor looked dull and rough but I couldn?t touch it because the finish was wet. He also left several tools behind. The next morning my floor WAS dull and VERY rough!
I called Alessandra Floors to complain about the shoddy work. After several attempts to contact them and after several missed appointments the worker finally returned to re-sand the floor and re-apply the finish. My floor looks ?OK? but overall I?m not at all satisfied.
Seems there?s never enough time to do it right but there is enough time to do it again!

The workers sanded, buffed and stained the floors in 3 rooms....living room, dining room and kitchen,They did the job in two parts. The kitchen and dining room first, then 3-4 days later, did the living room, entry way and entry way closet. Also did stairs going to upper and lower levels.  There were several stages to the job over the days it took to do each section.
They were professional and neat.  They gave us the opportunity to see different stains on a section of the floor so we could make a better decision of which stain was to our liking.  They were on time and courteous.  The owner of the company was constantly in touch with the workers and came to check the job and ask how satisfied we were with them.  We are very pleased and happy with the outcome.
Before hiring anyone, we researched oil versus water based stains.  We decided water based commercial was they way to go.  It does not require leaving your home during the process although the odor of the stain is clearly present.  Also, many companies will not allow for doing the job over a two parts as Alessanda's did.  Others required you to move out for a week so they could finish the job in one stage using oil based stains.  Owner Tony Alessandra was accomodating and helpful throughout the decision making process.
I would recommend and use them again.

Refinished small dining room floor. One worker for entire job; arrived on time; cleaned up after job was done.

We had Tony come in to give us an estimate earlier this year. The floor has been down at least 25 years and it was dried out. Since this is our entrance we postponed having the floor done as we decided to redo our bathrooms. After that was finished, I called him up and settled on a date and he was very accommodating. He called the night before, came on time the next morning. He is very professional and pleasant. He buffed the floor and polyurethaned it. We had to stay off it for a day but we were going away for two days. It was a pleasant surprise when we returned home and saw our beautiful floor. It looks like new. We couldn't be happier. We would highly recommend him. We got his name off Angie's list which is wonderful. We will be doing our carpeting soon and will definitely use him. I would recommend him to my friends.

I've actually used them several times. He also refinished our floors in October 2012. His service was just great. I don't thing there is very much to do better. He and his team showed up on time. They were professional. They did what they had to do and completed the job and we never really had problems afterwards.
