Gate won,t close, fence is falling down ,Earle said they will be back to fix it.......,,, still waiting.

It did not go. After waiting 8 weeks, the gate delivered looked like it came from a junior high school shop class. The wood was blemished and not sanded and the placement of excessive nails made it wholly unattractive. The expected quality had been discussed with a co-owner. The work was defended, in part, by that co owner as "the way we receive it from the manufacturer." He never saw the gate though. While he said he was supervising our project he was actually on vacation. Another co owner argued that we should have allowed them to install it and then address the deficiencies. What idiot would do that? Even the installers agreed that it was poor and not of the quality level of the existing fence. We are getting a full refund and going elsewhere.

Can't say enough about the work I received from Dennisville Fence. Mark, the estimator was the only one of 4-5 other estimates I'd gotten to identify that I had an unusual angle on the steps and had a good solution - custom cutting a mounting bracket into which the rails would be inserted. All the other company estimators had to be told by me about the unusual angle and didn't really have solutions I liked, if any.

The installers were on time and did a great job. They were careful to consult with me about several odds and ends before and during the installation. In addition to the rails they had to install several surface mount posts, all of which are rock solid.

They were not the cheapest I could have gone with but they were pretty close to other estimates. However, something like Mark identifying the issue with the steps and having a good solution showed me that he and his company had the experience and knowledge I was looking for.

I would definitely recommend Dennisville Fence and will be contacting them in the future about another job I will need to have done.

They did the permit work with the city. that was great. Since they have done work in the city before, it made things much easier. They know the ropes
The actual fencing work was fine; they cleaned up after themselves. So far no problems with the materials or the fence workmanship.
The issue is the gate; I had to go back and have the catch redone. It is still not quite right and does not close all the way: I had to have another latch installed to make sure the gate stays closed.
The other thing that distrubed me is they cut the Invisible Fence wire. They did not tell me, I found out by finding the cut wire. I was a bit disappointed.

This contractor was required to apply and pay for permits prior to the installation of fencing for our home. When we were notified by the Borough where our home is located to remove the fence immediately, we we learned that Dennisville Fence never applied for permits. Had they (Dennisville Fence) applied for permits, we would have learned long before the installation and them being paid in full that vinyl fencing is not allowed in the section of the Borough where our home resides and we would have made alternate choices. We were not only out the 8,600.00 that we paid Dennisville Fence, we were then required to remove the fence and pay a landscaper to install a hedge where the fence once stood. Dennisville agreed only to replace 2 of the 3 gates and the Arbor with Cedar and store the fencing that was removed but the hedging and new gardens tehy required was all on us. We were also told by a person in the local Borough office that this is a common practice by this contractor. The President of Dennisville Fence was the only person I worked with to try and resolve this matter and he clearly only had his own best interest at heart. If you can't get the President to see the err of their ways, then you can expect the rest of his company to act any differently. I will never recommend this company to anyone ever again. Don't trust the contracts you sign with this company, they mean nothing to them. Get your permits yourself and don't rely on this company.
