MTZ - very professional. Did a great job on replacing damaged floor boards. William went out of his way to make sure the boards matched what was already there and came up with some great ideas to make sure it all went smoothly. Silvio did a fantastic job!

I’m very satisfied with the quality of the work performed. Prior to the start, we did a thorough walkthrough to discuss details. They made suggestions that were proven right by the great results. The team was punctual, polite and professional in every way. And they even finished the job ahead of schedule.

The floors are beautiful. The work was completed quickly. William is great with texting and answering questions... Problems: There was garbage left throughout the house (coffee cups, rags, sanding belts, stain cans, etc). These were the only items William agreed was wrong and gave us a $150 credit. Following issues William did not see a problem with: There were 3 construction bags of garbage left for me to throw out. Each weighing at least 50 lbs. This is not the client's responsibility. Wood dust in all air vents, on walls, window sills, furniture, bathrooms and other rooms not getting work done. He said dust is normal, but the workers did not bother to shut the door to rooms that were not being worked on or cover furniture. There was floor stain on the walls and molding. Floor vents were bent. In 3 months, we have gotten multiple splinters from the floor. So I doubt they will last very long. I can only recommend if you are willing to sit and babysit while the work is completed.

William and team did great work! William was extremely communicative and was able to schedule the work within 2 days of hiring. The team worked extremely quickly and efficiently and the bathroom looks great. Would definitely hire again!

William is a stand up guy and great to work with. He is very friendly and professional and gave us a very fair quote. His crew did a great job and completed our project in Monmouth Junction NJ when he said he would. We live in Maryland and managed this project remotely without a hitch. He sent pictures to show his work and kept us updated. Our cousin, a contractor from NY, inspected the work when William’s team was done and he was very happy with the work. I strongly recommend William and my only issue is that he doesn’t live in Maryland so I could hire him locally!

Although the working needing to be done was small and straightforward, it was done professionally, quickly, and efficiently. William was my go to guy throughout the process and was always curious, friendly and knowledgeable. The laborer he sent was also friendly and professional. It is nice to find professionals like William and those who work for him. I will indeed recommend him and most certainly will use him again myself. Thank you William!

Yes, Martinez’s was extremely accommodating with refinishing living room, dinning room, and sunroom floors. William’s was extremely courteous and professional. In fact, his crew arrived a half hour before scheduled time. They moved furniture without any damages. They completed the work in a timely fashion and returned to move furniture back. Normally, I found when hiring contractors it simply a nightmare from beginning to end. Needless, to say I would not hesitate to hired or recommend Mr. Martinez.

It was awesome! They made an overwhelming situation bearable. I have an old house so whenever any work is done it’s a surprise. I was having new flooring installed in my bathroom. When the installers pulled up the old flooring, we discovered that there was a hole and rotted wood in the subfloor. This was on a Friday afternoon. William responded quickly to my request for help. He was calm, professional and caring. He scheduled Carlos to come assess the situation the next day, Saturday. Carlos came and assured me that the floor could be installed quickly. He did explain that the entire floor needed to be replaced and as a result, the vanity would have to be removed. He told me that I may have to replace the vanity due to how it was installed and replace some pipes as well due to age. The plan was to return on Monday (ended up being Tuesday due to an emergency). In the meantime, he hooked my toilet back up which I really appreciated since it was my only bathroom. On installation day, Carlos and companion were prompt and worked quickly to put the floor down. The removed the old rotted floor and cleaned up behind themselves. They were able to save my vanity which was great. They did have to replace a piece of pipe, but I was prepared so wasn’t surprised. They did a wonderful job. William even called to see if I was satisfied with the job. All in all, I will definitely use this company again.

I don’t usually write reviews but this company well deserves one. Floors were done to perfection and painting superb. I’ve seen many other work done by other companies but MTZ is the best , I am highly recommending them!!

William and his crew are the best! I hired a different contractor who basically destroyed my grandmother’s home and William stepped in and made it absolutely beautiful. He gave me a fair price and went above and beyond to make sure that the house was perfect it was absolutely beautiful, he even use quality products like Benjamin Moore paint, the flooring is absolutely gorgeous everyone loves it the house is completely transformed. I can not say enough good things about this experience, he really knocked it out of the park, I am unbelievably grateful. He even sent me updated pictures of the progress of the home. William, thank you so, so much!
