DRAIN KING

I was recommended by a friend to use Drain King. Chuck and his son did a fantastic job on my elderly mother’s home in North Brunswick. She experienced major plumbing issues over the last few months and was having a difficult time finding a trust-worthy plumber. Chuck was friendly, honest, professional and took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns. Turns out, her outside sewer pipe needed to be replaced. Chuck and his team showed up promptly at 8 am and the entire job was completed before 1 pm. His pricing was extremely reasonable and he did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Drain King in Dayton.

I contacted several company and landed on Drain King. Chuck and his staff was great. First chuck came and gave a knowledgeable estimate and you can feel his passion for his job. He got me into a spot the following day coming back out to East Windsor NJ with no hesitation. They were very thorough and explain the reasoning for problem and actual put back a couple of bushes to the landscaping which others said I would loose in the process. Chuck the Man. Thanks JM

Chuck came out fast and identified a rusting main sewer line via a camera inspection. He gave me excellent information concerning next steps.

Owner was polite and efficient. They happened to be in town and came right over. About 10 minutes of diagnostics but they determined the sewer trap was plugged. Our house is old and sewer trap was almost inaccessible in the crawl space; the cap was on so tight that the owner's son had to pound away at it to get it off. Fortunately he was able to crawl into that tiny space! After another 10 minutes using their machine they had it free and were on their way, thank you! I know from pervious experience these things typically cost $500 or more; these guys did the whole thing for hundreds less, and quickly as well.

Chuck and his team did an excellent job. They came to review the job in a timely manner, go the permits without assistance, line were marked by public service and completed the job in very quickly. Drain Kings price could not be beat!!

Been having the same problem w/ our HE washing machine basically draining onto the floor for the past year +. Spent too much on commercial drain cleaners which would only get me through a load or 2. Dryer finally died which meant I had to seriously do something about this problem before I got a new one. Went on Angies List & found Drain King who is conveniently close by. Called & they were able to come out the same day. They arrived on time & were out of here 20 min. later. Should have called them sooner.

I called this company to undue an obstruction in a sump pump line. Pretty clear instructions. What I got? I paid $190 for a diagnosis, problem not fixed. I was told to call back 2 weeks later and give the line an opportunity to "drain properly." Then when I called back I was told that I had to pay another $325 for an additional work to see if that would help. I told him probably wasn't fixed in the first place. Conversation went around and around leading to "Additional work mean more money" What did I pay $190 for. Scam!

It went very well. Chuck and his son Chuck unclogged my bathroom shower and tub drains. They were really clogged up and now they are all working well. They also repaired my outside faucet and put in a new and improved one that should work better than the old one.

I had a great experience with Drain King. Unfortunately, I mistakenly flushed a bottle down the toilet. Chuck explained different options in lames terms, he was responsive and efficient. I highly recommend him!

They came within a day of when I called to take a look at my backed up sewer line. I called drain king looking for a 2nd quote as my first one I felt was over the top. After just moving into the house less then 2 months. He explained to me everything he was going to do and solved the problem and also told me future problems I may have.

Chuck was able to clear my bathroom sink clog after two other plumbers were unsuccessful. He easily cleared my kitchen sink issue. He was professional and very knowledgeable. Pricing was very fair and I would absolutely hire him again.

After another company on this list couldn't get the job done, told me they had call their boss so they went outside waited for them " they just left" didn't say anything! They had Roto Rooter shirts on But I guess any one can buy those shirts! Called DRAIN KING" They took care of it !

They did an excellent job of cleaning a tough drain clog.

I spoke to Chuck over the phone and explained to him the problem I was experiencing. Since I am a fairly new home owner this is my first time needing to call a plumber. He told me over the phone what he thought the problem was, and quoted me the price to fix it. He also said if it was something more simple, he would charge me less. Sure enough it was a blocked sewer line, but since he was able to unclog it without using the heavy duty machine, he charged me a little less. I really appreciate his professionalism and not trying to take advantage by pretending the problem was more difficult to get more money out of me. He arrived at the time he told me he would, and even offered to clean up the mess which I definitely wouldn’t allow him to do. He knew I was on a tight budget, so I really appreciate him not trying to overcharge me like some of the other plumbers were doing when I got quotes from them. I would definitely recommend Chuck to anyone who needs plumbing work done.

I can't say enough about Drain King!! We have an ongoing problem in our Levitt home where a few times a year, when the washing machine drains, it backs up into the kitchen sink. We have used Chuck and Drain King in the past and they always came through. This time, I didn't recall the name of his company so I called another service. They came and spent nearly 1.5 hours attempting to unclog the drain, I could tell they really didn't know what to do. Told me my pipes were probably broken....They finally stopped and said no charge, then came back and said because they spent a long time trying to clear the drain, they would charge me full price. Really?! Not happy with that, I went to Angies list and found my initial review for Drain King.. I should have done this the first time!! They came on time and were in and out in 25 mins. If you have any plumbing or drain problems, please call Drain King!!! I have them now on my favorite list! Thanks Chuck and his assistant!!

Called Drain King on a Sunday evening when my toilet overflowed after a shower and scheduled for the service the next morning. He came on time and inspected, did some simple test and decided that the blockage could be caused by a full septic tank. He suggested that I should have the septic tank pumped out first as he does not want to make a mess in my basement only to find out it was caused by a septic tank that is past due for pumping. If that still does not resolve the problem, then it is a sewer line blockage and I can call him to come back to remove it. It turns out it was not a septic tank issue. Called him again and he came within 2+ hours and removed the blockage without making any mess. I would recommend Drain King with no hesitation. Father and son were both very cordial. They came quickly and on-time. Seems to be very knowledgable. The price is reasonable.

Chuck was professional and respectful of the client's time. He advised right away that another job was possibly going to take all day. He suggested calling other services if I couldn't wait. I did so, found another disconnected and others still haven't called back. As the rest of the house drains worked fine, I was willing to wait, particularly for someone who specialized in the problem I had. Mid-day he called and reported he could only come the next morning. He did so, calling first to ensure the time was okay. He and his son arrived promptly, though we were on the edge of their service area. Gave the price up-front and was flexible in method of payment. They wheeled in their motorized snake machine and had the job done, including cleaning up, in just 20 minutes. I gladly paid the fee (as my DIY snake had been inadequate), and provided a tip.

We had a one-time overflow of an exterior drain. Chuck came out and gave us his very honest opinion - the drain was fine and it was a one-time fluke. He said he could install an addition for us but there would really be no reason to do it. Appreciated his honesty as he could have charged us and installed something that we really didn't need.

Called Chuck and explain the issue. He just had a medical procedure that week, so we scheduled for the following Monday instead. He show up on time and snaked our drain. Since then no issue so far. :)
