We bought the cars there they have the records on the vehicles the entire way across. In the past when they say it is due for an filter or this, that and the other or air filters or hoses or anything like that we fully trust them because I have all the service records going all the way back so I know that they wouldn't, and they know that they wouldn't be able to say that we needed a tire every time we go there. They are convenient to us. It is about half way between home and work so I can stop there on my way home and get it done. That's not what I did this time but that's what I have in the past. They have a nice waiting area. I never go in with an appointment unless it is a major thing. If it is a major thing then it is fine. I am usually in and out quickly other times it takes longer. Its not that they are late or anything like that, if I go there and they are busy I will leave and come back. There have been occasions where it would take a lot longer than we thought because they have other stuff to do etc. and it is just going to be a long time but if it going to be long they will give you a courtesy car if it is going to be a day. Sometimes it is prearranged, other times they will come out and say it is going to be a long time and I say can I get a car and I get one. It has not been a problem to get a courtesy car.

You don't need an appointment, you can just drive right in! It's very convenient.

The story has a happy ending but my only comment is that it took a long while to get to the happy ending. It was for replacing tires and then filing a tire warranty claim with the manufacturer and it was Dayton's job to follow up with the manufacturer to file the claim and it has taken since January 18th until today for Dayton to actually complete the process. As far as getting the job done, I was able to get some warranty claim filed successfully. I am reasonably happy with the new tires. I was just not particularly happy with all the follow up calls. They were not very proactive and not communicating to me to tell how things were going. They are more convenient than everybody else so I guess I will use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Dayton Toyota for replacing tires and then I went there in January 18 to file a tire warranty claim.

Description of Work: Brought my RAV4 in without an appointment at 9:00 AM Wednesday. Some of my panel lights had gone on. They diagnosed it to need 2 OXY sensors. One was in stock and the other was ordered and received same day. My car was ready to be picked up at 2:15 and the problem was resolved. THANKS FOR YOUR CONTINUING GREAT SERVICE DAYTON TOYOTA GIVES TO ME. Congratulations to Mr. Paserba, the Service Manager for running a good and efficient operation. This is why I continue to buy my Toyota's at Dayton Toyota.

Description of Work: COROLLA SERIAL 2T1BR30E15C376604.....Oil change, Air Filter (which was not needed since recently replaced it myself), Replaced wiper blades, Changed Transmission Oil (which was not needed), PCV Valve, Clean/Adjust Rear Brakes (which was not needed). Since my wife took the car in, they took advantage of her and did service that was not needed (60,000 mile checkup) on our 2005 Corolla. I know that for a fact since have been servicing my cars for many years and am aware what is needed. On another occassion, after my wife had a flat tire, they told her it dangerous to ride on and scared her into buying a new tire. There was nothing wrong with the tire (had only about 5,000 miles on it) except the flat needed to be fixed and the new tire was cancelled. The tire was repaired in the normal way at another service station and it was false salesmanship that the tire would be dangerous if fixed. I have always serviced my car at DAYTONTOYOTA because of the great relationship I have with my service advisor. however, on these occassions he was not in so dealt with someone else. This service technician has taken advantage of other women and seniors as I hear him talk to customers waiting in the waiting room. I complained about him but the dealership does nothing. On the SALES SIDE, they are VG and a pleasure to deal with.
