It went excellent!

Recently we had occasion to employ Welbilt Home Improvements, located in Cresskill NJ, to construct a deck and rebuild a patio for us. The owner of Welbilt, Jack Debrot is an educated and professional craftsman who makes it his business (pun intended) to oversee and actually work on every detail of a construction project. From the first time we spoke with Jack he was attentive, reliable, prompt and affable. We originally spoke with Jack last Fall and he told us that the earliest he could start work would be in the spring after the ground defrosted and he was true to his word, contacting us in early April to prepare for the construction. Before each appointed meeting his office would call to confirm the date and time. He arrived promptly as scheduled. Jack ?s specialty is carpentry and what a perfectionist he is in that area.Jack utilized subcontractors to complete the plumbing (outside water faucet) paving and landscaping and again they were of a high caliber and communicated with Jack effectively to clarify any concerns as to style and amendments to the original plans. The small but ever-so important touches that he used to complete the deck made all the difference in creating a lovely space for us. The members of his crew were also most respectful of our property and privacy. The estimated completion date came very close to the actual completion date in spite of prolonged bad weather conditions and illness of one of the crew. This is most unusual for construction projects and was much appreciated. After the deck and patio were completed the crew cleaned up right down to sweeping the deck. We cannot say enough positive things about working with Jack and his company and look forward to hiring him to do our next project.
