Our old, damaged patio sliding door and windows were just replaced with new Renewal by Anderson products with absolutely no problems! The whole process from meeting with the sales representative Derek, ordering the windows to the delivery and installation was first-rate! The order was placed, delivered on time, and installed with our new patio door and windows with craftsmen like perfection! The installers (SMZ installation crew, Slawek and Tomas) prepped the living room area with plastic, used booties when in the living room and finished the entire project in just six hours. The entire worksite was thoroughly cleaned after the install. I can’t say enough about the product and the people we worked with through this process. On scale from 1-10 these people earned a 10+. I contracted with Renewal by Anderson and paid a premium price, significantly more than I would have paid at Home Depot. I was sold on the high level of service and the professional installation, and the line by the salesperson that each installer has installed more than a thousand doors before being hired by Renewal. Don’t be fooled by any of it. The installation was okay, but the cleanup went poorly and a piece of door trim only had one nail and was left dangling by the installer. This is a mistake that someone installing their first door would not make. It took 3-4 weeks for someone to come back to nail the trim, after repeated calls to the office. Nearly a month passed before I received a final receipt, again after repeated efforts. Finally, I never received a response from the salesperson after several calls, messages, and emails. Don’t waste your money, go to Home Depot if you need a new sliding door or windows.

The windows were replaced quickly and with no hitches. The patio door had a problem that had nothing to do with the installers. The previous owner had an electrical wire routed under the slider track of the old patio door. The installer told me he could not install the new door over the wire, nor would I ask him to. However, thanks to his recommendation to call a electrician right away and his aid in getting access to the wiring, the problem was fixed and the door was completed installed the by the next afternoon. If you are looking for new windows the only thing I can add is don't skimp on the quality of the windows, if you do, you will pay for in the end with poorer heating and cooling efficiencies.

We had the salesperson come out, this was not our first quote for the project. I wholeheartedly agree with the other comments about the awful aggressive sales pitch. For several of the windows the salesperson didn't really listen to what I wanted, he just told me what he thought should be done and was kind of condescending about it. The initial visit took well over an hour. Then he made an appointment to come back to give us a quote, he would not email it, it had to be in person. As my husband and I both work, this delayed the process by several weeks. When the office called to confirm the second appointment they insisted that the salesperson would need at least an hour to give us the quote. Given the cost and size of the project there's no way we were going to make a decision on the spot, and the complete lack of respect for my time and preferences was a huge turnoff. I told him not to bother coming back. What a horrible experience all around, I will be taking my money elsewhere.

It is beautiful. Excellent quality and has great locks! There's even a lock on the screen. They covered up the furniture when they did the installation and were very tidy. I love my door!

They set up a lean-to cover so that they were able to get the work done through the rain and hail. They worked all day and into the evening for 2 days to complete the job. They did an excellent job, I couldn't believe it when it was done, it looked like a new room!

Excellent from the salesman Jason Moye to the installers. I was extremely happy with the quality of the windows, and the workmanship of the crew who installed them. They were extremely neat, and I didn’t, have to cleanup after them. The cost was on the high side but you get what you pay for, and in this case it was well worth it.

They were excellent.

Because I called them, they were terrible, horrible, I would never recommend Renewal Anderson to anybody, you can't get a price over the phone you have to show them the deed to your house prove how many people and how many people are listed, and how owns the house and everyone has to be present who lives in the house and you also have to make sure you give them a mandatory ninety minutes of presentation to do even a measurement on the window. they are actually so far down the scale it would be very very difficult they have to actually talk to people like people for one thing that would be nice, they would have offer come out and give them a quote without ninteen they have so many pre qualifying questions that was ridiculous

They say they are the best, and they installed the doors, and they are not working properly, so they send this guy over and he starts drilling holes through them. Now they don't open. This is a year gone by. They say they are coming between 8 and 10 in the morning, and I get a phone call at 8 o'clock saying they are not coming today because there is a crack on the door. They took the delivery of the door, and they say they didn't check it? They dropped it while they were putting it in the truck today, but they didn't say that. My wife has been in touch with the president of the company and everything. This is ridiculous. I bought the doors for $12,000, I could have bought a car for that. They put windows in my kitchen, they stepped on my faucet and broke it off. I needed a window going up the stairs and it was the size of a basement window. I thought they would give me a good deal because I gave them so much business and I had so much trouble with them, and the sales man said he will give me a special because I was a repeat customer, and he charged me $1200. It was a $50 window. They talk a good game, but I am going over a year. They didn't show up today. One of their associates is not allowed in my house or on my block. 

They were supposed to send a tech out, so I stayed home waiting for them. Nobody ever showed up. When I called they said he did show up and rang my doorbell, however I was there and never heard it. They sent another tech out later and he did call my cell. He did fix the issue and was great. My issue was with the customer service who sided with the initial tech that said he did come out. It took weeks for me to get a 15 min job done.

I knew that it was going to high. They did over charge me. I would have used them no matter what. Their service is good and they did a thorough, great job. They specialize in Andersen windows, and are specially trained. They got me on the price. The workers were professional and very good. I wouldn't use them again.

Quality windows and it's a pleasure to use them now, but the process to get there was very stressful and expensive. One window was ordered incorrectly, another cracked during installation. Then it took numerious phone calls with being passed around to different people in some remote office until finally I threatened to sue if I don't get some clear response. Then I was able to speak to a regional manager and the process went forward. This was the opposite of the 'you will be taken care of the  whole way' promise that I was given initially. Given the steep price (2300 per window) being charged the service is completely unacceptable. As a result I will not be doing business again.

It was a true EPIC, EPIC Fail.  They ask me and my wife to be home for the appointment and never sent a rep.  And they never called to say they weren't coming.  Going to hire a contractor instead.

They were professional, they showed up 20 minutes ahead of time, they showed us how everything worked, and cleaned up very well after themselves. One of the old windows fell out as they were getting ready to put the new ones in and they picked up every piece of glass that got broken. They have an apron that goes around that gets nailed into the house to hold the windows in. After they had gotten that loose, it was a windy day and one of the workers came in the front door and the pressure inside the house blew the window out. The guy was inside, he couldn't grab it to stop it, it was already gone. We were just glad that it wasn't the new windows that got blown out before they were attached. The workers were excellent. They were professional, they worked as a team, each one had a job to do, and they showed us everything. I couldn't ask for a better crew. Whatever they gave me has a lifetime warranty on it.
