I hired Anthony to do over $30k worth of work in my yard. When he was done I noticed he built the retaining wall and put two shrubs and a tree on my neighbors property. After chasing him for over a year with the constant promise of ?I?ll be out there? and then an excuse I asked ?what needs to be done to get you out here?? At which point I was told ?too bad I have your money?. Needless to say, I would never hire nor recommend them to come to your house.

The GreatEscape team was on-time, professional and finished same-day. We just moved into our new home and needed a 6' vinyl privacy fence. These guys came in and did a superb job. I would recommend them for any job, large or small.

Workers arrived first thing in the morning and only took a break for lunch before finishing the job. They were professional and friendly and even accommodated a last minute change request. The fence is beautiful and sturdy and will provide a space for our dog to run around and an environment for backyard entertaining for years to come. We love it!!

GreatEscape was very prompt in providing an estimate and had the lowest bid out of 4 fencing companies from whom we solicited estimates. The installation was efficient and very well done. We are very pleased with the appearance of the fence! The only downside was that we were initially told that the fence could be installed within 3 weeks after signing the contract; however it took more than twice as long before the fence was installed. This appears to have reflected prolonged interactions between GreatEscape and our condominium management company, and it's difficult to evaluate how much each side contributed to the delay.

Job was done promptly and correctly but since I did not have the time to comparative shop, I feel I most likely overpaid.

Start to finish the team on our job was responsive, courteous, and was clear in their communication on timelines.

Glenn was extremely responsive and helpful. Great to work with and we look forward to working with Greatescape later this year for our fence install.

They were very responsive. They were very easy to work with over the phone. Their pricing was very competitive. We have not even met yet, and I am already going to be using them.

We only had 2 days before our party to have the work done!! Anthony responded immediately, gave a quote and was able to get the work done in time! We also had a tree in the way with roots blocking the posts and Anthony and his crew were able to make it work! Followed up and came back to complete the gate! Excellent job, Thank you!!!

My wife and I hired Anthony and his team at GreatEscape to install 6 foot privacy fencing around our property. We initially got 4 quotes from highly rated fencing companies including GreatEscape. Some we found on review sites like Angies List/Yelp, and 1 was a recommendation from another service company. The reason we ended up choosing Anthony and GreatEscape was as follows:

1) Their price was very competitive - One quote was very high, while one seemed really low. GreatEscape came in close with another contractor. Both seemed fair. I was able to understand the difference in what I could expect by the way each company described the job to me. One guy said he would dig about 1 to 2 feet down for posts. I'm not in the business and I know from minimal research that this is way too shallow, hence his cheap price. The highest priced company  was full of himself and arrogant. What stood out in my mind when Anthony came to estimate the job was how he spoke to it. You can tell Anthony takes pride in what he and his team do. Anthony spoke to proper post depth, and the problems when you don't put the extra effort in and dig properly. He pointed to my neighbors and how it was uneven and leaning. He basically was illustrating what happens when certain things aren't done. You got the feeling he really knew what he was talking about, and took pride in his work.

2) Personal touch - Anthony is the owner. He has a team, and an assistant in the office dealing with scheduling etc. But once you start working with Anthony, you are dealing with him the whole way. He gave me his personal cell and told me to text or call with any questions. As I was deciding which company to choose, I would text Anthony questions. He would respond immediately, and honestly. You just didn't feel like he was being at all dishonest. After selecting Anthony and GreatEscape  to do the job, Anthony was even more present. He was there on job day, he also checked in and stopped over my house after the fact to inspect the work yet again. He followed up a week later to ensure I was fully happy, and if there was anything else I needed. he also told me he would be coming back out to re-check the gates to adjust the hinges after the gate posts settled. The day he told me he was going to come adjust it was pouring rain. I told him not to worry, but there he was in the my backyard in the pouring rain adjusting my gates to perfection. Crazy, but that's just how Anthony. The job is not done, until its done. That is evident in how Anthony conducts business

3) Permit - I needed to get a permit for my particular fencing job. The problem was I work in Manhattan, and my wife is home with out at the time 2 week old baby. I told Anthony  it was going to be difficult to get there. Without pause, Anthony told me he would go take care of it for me, and because of the birth of our new baby, told me he was covering the expense of the permit as his gift to us. Who does that? If that doesn't show how nice Anthony can be, what does?

4) Day of  the job. I again had to work. My wife was home, but couldn't really do much with the baby. Anthony ensured me he would be there for the job. He was there, got to my house at 7am with his guys. Got everything setup and on track, then let his 3 guys to their work. , My wife said he stopped back over a few more times that day to make sure everything was good. I was super impressed with his guys also. That was a looooong day of work. But they finished everything that day. Super impressed.

Anthony is a modest guy, hustling hard to get jobs and run his company. I found him to be fair, and super easy to deal with. He treats you like a friend, and looks out for your best interest. If he knows something isn't right, he will tell you vs. you finding out yourself (ie: wanting to adjust my gate to make it perfect in the rain) because he knew he wanted perfection.

I will definitely be using GreatEscape again one day. Unfortunately the fence he put in has a lifetime warranty, so I hope Anthony decides to offer other services hahaha.

Recommendation to others searching for a fence company: I searched the web for probably 2 months reading every review, looking at pictures and getting estimates. I went with Anthony because he is fair, personable, passionate about his work, cares about his clients, and did one h*** of a job!

It went perfect. No complaints would definitely recommend to others
