Our experience was great! Mike Califano was very communicative and things generally went according to schedule. There were no surprises or long delays or anything of the like. Ran as smooth as a construction project can be.
The contract was for Califano & Son to do the demolition, construction, plumbing, electric and installation. We were responsible for picking out and purchasing the toilet, vanity, sink, countertop, tile, etc. While it may seem overwhelming as a first time bathroom renovator, Mike basically gave me the list of items I should look for and how much to buy based on room measurements. So it was just a matter of coming up with our design and then checking it off the list.
ALL of the workers (plumbers, electricians, tile, etc.) were very pleasant to deal with and all of them were very clean. Everyone was also experienced/knowledgeable, helping us with recommendations when asked. I really couldn't have asked for anything more.
Great job overall, I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for construction work.
