California Closets of Southern Jersey

We had a few snags with drawers that were the incorrect depth and a couple small things but they fixed the problems and in the end we are very happy with our closet and office. They are not cheap but the quality is good. We had received 2 other quotes and one seemed comparable in price while the other was cheaper but we were unsure of the quality and whether the designer understood what we wanted so we felt like California Closets was the best choice for us.

I received no price and no work was done.

We had an issue with a few parts matching up and a fascia for under cabinet lights.However they did come back and fix it all Was a bit pricey but in the end seemed like a good job. They have 3D software so you see style prior to the job

Great! All work done in one day. The workers were neat and quick. We have a smaller home and had to make adjustments for storage. The rooms look great and the closets stay neat. I've used CA Closets for every home I've owned for 25 yrs.

I am very, very happy with them. I have used them in the past when I lived in Virginia. I like their notably design consulting services. They were better than two others we've interviewed and by far they have the best design that we got. And that was also the reason why we got them again. Their price was a little bit higher than the ones that I surveyed but I think the design services and the quality of work is well-worth the extra money that we spent.

I met with the designer on October 24. It is now December 20 and the job still isn't finished. The day of the big install, only one guy showed up. Everyone else had been sent to a much larger - and more lucrative - job somewhere else. Needless to say, he didn't even get 1/2 of the work done. We had been told that we would only need to paint the ceilings. The walls of the closets were damaged but the installer went ahead anyway. When we realized that the system would not hide the damage, we had to have our own contractor stop him and make repairs. Someone else came to complete the job afterward. They also left sawdust on the floor and didn't even put the shelves in one of the closets. The shelves were left in a pile in another room. One of the side panels is not attached to the wall. It's loose. We were not given instructions on how to relocate the tie racks. We were not given any paperwork on how to care and maintain the system. Despite the emails and promised phone calls that were never made to us, we have had to wait another two weeks to get someone to finish the job. They are supposed to come next week. I wish we had bought a modular system elsewhere and had our own contractor install it. We paid a fortune for pressed cardboard.

Everything went and they did a great job.

The designer worked well with our 16 year old daughter, whose closet was being redone. The installer was punctual and the work was done very well. The closet is beautiful. The price was steep, but there were some particular issues with this closet that made us decide not to try to use a less expensive kit-type solution. Given the price, we will probably use an online design and kit for our next closet projects.

They had great ideas. They were very clean and professional. The quality of what they installed was excellent. I have had no problems with what they have done. They were very good. I would use them again in the future. The price is very high and that is the only thing that would prevent me from using them in the future.

Job was done well, on time and looks terrific.Designer did excellent job with construction layout.Would use this company again and highly recommend their service; although, a bit pricey.

California Closets was a little more expensive than other companies but the work was absolutely exceptional. There was no effort to try and sell me something I didn't need and it was wonderful. I really didn't mind paying the extra money for the job because the quality was well worth it. The wood they use is remarkable. Overall it was a very positive experience.

It was a very positive experience. Installation was perfect and the price was competitive.
