Things started off fine.He replaced one piece of sheetrock that had black mold. Since he didn't see any mold where the other leak was, he said there was no need to replace the sheet rock & he wasn't going to do it. The final sanding was the worst. he did not do any prep work or seal off the kitchen. He used a sanding machine without a bag. If I knew I was responsible for the prep work I would have done it.Now there is dust throughout my entire condo. The worst part, is that I did not even get an apology. His idea of cleaning is wiping the floors with a damp rag. This does not address the film of dust on the appliances, the counters, inside the cabinets, etc. not to mention the other rooms.The following day, paul shows up to paint. I purposely by paint /primer for the ceiling. He has to use his own. he gets upset that I buy a different color. Upon completion, I ask why he he didn't paint the doors to pantry & clothes closet & the baseboard as per  the insurance estimate. It has to specifically say doors for him to that work & he doesn't do baseboards. After he left, I noticed that he wiped his bushes on my counter. He was quick to point out that I paint on cabinets before. But I never had paint on my counter, appliances or floor.You get 2 bills - one for labor & one for supplies, which wasn't explained up front.
If you had up my time to clean up after Paul, supplies & things that I had to discard due to ingrained dust, it amounts to more than the price of the job.
