Maginn Heat And A/C

Description of Work: My gas furnace was giving me issues. I received a post card in fhe mail from Maginns and called them. The technician showed up about 5 hours later and took a look at the furnace. He immediated said there was water damage from the pvp piping that a contractor installed 10 years ago and he would have to replace a few parts to get the furnace working. He went back to his truck a few times and came in with a few boxes. He worked on the furnace for a few hours then gave us a whopping bill of $1200 payable by cash or check only and a totally illegible bill. He would not show us the parts he replaced, in fact he could have used the same parts we already had in the unit as far as I was concerned. When we questioned him, he said, oh I replaced this, this this and this. When I asked him to show me the parts, he refused saying they were already in the truck and he had to leave. Avoid calling Maginn heaing and AC in Hunterdon county, like you would avoid the plague. You will be ripped off by them.
