We love Land L and have been going to them for about 10 years for all of our service and equipment needs. We have had our lawnmower, snowthrower, trimmer, and chainsaw serviced by multiple other service/repair places in the area. Land L has been the best, most reliable, and fairest priced repair and service place we have found. We tried some other places and found some of them to be unreliable, overpriced, or both. As one example, we had trouble with our snowthrower for two years, with it cutting out in the middle of heavy snow (not a good time to have your thrower fail). The first place (NOT Land L; call it M123 Co.) did the original servicing on the snowthrower after we bought it (we bought it used). M123 said the carburetor needed work so we had it done. Later, when we had trouble in heavy snow we took it back. M123 took a look, said nothing was wrong, charged us for looking at it, and said it was probably the altitude or I had messed up the air/fuel mixture. The next year, same thing happened. Took it to another place (again NOT Land L)and they said the carburetor needed to be cleaned (again?). We had it cleaned and serviced, paid them, and then the snowthrower cut out again. Finally, we took it to Land L and they diagnosed the problem. The first place (M123 Co.) had put the wrong carburetor on the snowthrower! Land L also figured out that the plastic/rubber seals had decayed and were allowing the cap on the gas tank to drift down and completely seal the opening so that the gas tank was essentially vacuum tight, not allowing the gas to flow out. They fixed it for a fair price and the snowthrower finally worked like it was supposed to! Land L was the first to make clear that with all the ethanol in our gas we had to make sure we burned through it regularly. They recommended additives that really seem to help prolong the life of the gas in the cans for our equipment. Land L also services our mower, chainsaw, etc. They are always on time, always professional, and always set a fair price. Recently I pinched our chainsaw blade in a tree that was bridged across two other trees and the chain had jumped the blade. They resharpened the saw, fixed our blade (it was uneven because it had gotten hot), tightened everything up, and had the chainsaw ready to go in just a couple of days, all at a fair price. They are knowledgeable about all power equipment and have a good selection of trimmers, saws, blowers, mowers, etc. They don't gouge on new equipment and offer competitive prices. They do pick up for some types of equipment but we've never had them do that for us.
