It was very good. Excellent.

From the beginning, I knew Ralph was a pro. If he said he'd be there at 9:30, he pulled up at 9:25 -- which means a lot, considering my experience with other service providers operating on their own clock. We had our share of issues, including a failed inspection for a pre-existing problem, that turned a six-week project into a three-month ordeal. If only Angie's List could let me write a review of the building inspector in Montclair -- whoa nellie, that'd be a fun one! But none of that was Ralph's fault. There was another delay with an incorrectly ordered cabinet, but Ralph was extremely apologetic and made sure we could use the rest of the kitchen while the correct one was ordered. Overall, the work was top-notch and exactly what we requested. He paid attention to the small details and when we requested fixes, he made them. Our old microwave oven died as soon as we moved it out of the kitchen, and during the construction, Ralph loaned us one from his office -- a gesture that saved us $100. He was just at the house this week to repair some of the grout in the backsplash. Most of all, everyone loves the finished product. I'd highly recommend R&R.

They did a good job.  They were timely.  They did a quality job.  They were responsive.  I would recommend them.

From my first contact with Ralph of R & Remodelers I have been extremely pleased with his knowledge and expertise in all facets of kitchen remodeling. He routinely surpassed my expectations. He kept me updated and informed as each stage progressed. During our initial meeting in my home he discovered that my sink was not vented and explained what would need to be done to correct this. Each day that a contractor was scheduled to do work Ralph would arrive to make sure they knew what needed to be done. I was very impressed with this because when I remodeled my bathroom 2 years ago I rarely saw that contractor and had difficulty communicating with the workers since they spoke very little english. All the contractors that work for R & R are skilled in their trade and could easily answer any questions I may have had. I would recommend any of them and would not hesitate to use them again. I will prepare separate reports on each of them. All work was done on time as scheduled and the cost did not deviate from the estimate. The only additional costs were related to correct items that were discovered to be done incorrectly in the past or that I added on after the job started. I would not hesitate to recommend R & R Remodelers and only wish I knew of them and Angies List 2 years ago when I had my bathroom remodeled.

Started on time, showed up when they said they would. Some delays due to unavailability of town inspectors, but completed the job as agreed in contract. Their price was in line with estimates from other contractors or maybe a little better as the floors, counters & backsplash tile were included. The workers were professional & neat. The cabinet quality is excellent, they handled everything from start to finish except painting & I am very happy with my kitchen.

From start to finish everything went great, the owner ralph is very reliable, on top of everything and professional, the staff was always on time and did very good work, we added other things to the job like new doors and a new floor in the hallway which of course added to the price. i have to mention ralphs assistent teddy who was always helpful and nice on the phone. i would use them again which i most likely will in a few years to remodel our bathroom.

It went very well. They did an excellent job. We dealt with Ralph Zielinski who is the president of the company. The price and workmanship were excellent. The whole crew was excellent. They were here when they said they would be and completed the work on time. Ralph was here practically every day overlooking the project. We also liked that he had a studio where we could go and see the products as opposed to going to a retail store.

It went very well until they got to the countertop - apparently the Silestone was not ordered in the proper quantity and more had to be ordered from Spain, which delayed the job for 2 weeks. I was also unhappy with the color variances in the countertop. (It seemed to me like they had given me the last piece they had that nobody else wanted.) Although they DID try to remedy this upon my comments, they were only partially successful. However, the rest of the kitchen remodel went without a hitch. They even vacuumed and cleaned up totally and replaced all of the appliances and hooked them up. They also added some baseboard molding for free which was not part of the original estimate and moved my phone when the new cabinets required it. Overall, I am more than satisfied with the job, and the original price they gave me in the contract was the one I paid.

Ralph was always on the job. He returned our calls quickly and was respectful of all of my concerns. He said that he would be at our home at 8am and on the stroke of 8 he was there. He covered our new hardwood floors with cardboard protected the rest of our home, with drop cloths or whatever else was needed. He cleaned up as he went. All in all we are very happy with R&R and his staff.
