Contacted Elias a week before the move into my new townhouse. Explained that I needed 2 large screen TVs and sound bars installed and assistance with setting up a home office. He responded right away and provided competitive pricing to do the project. He completed the work as proposed and did a great job. Very neat and efficient. Would hire him again anytime....

this is the second time i have used House of Audio. The work is clean and efficient. Explanation is perfect and won't leave your house until you completely understand everything. Excellent Service

Incredible experienceâ ¦here is the full story. I live in a condo in Manhattan, new construction and just moved in. While the place was new, it lacked any home theatre system or any home technology. I was looking to have in-wall/ceiling speakers installed in several rooms (including a complete home theatre), get a projector, great wifi system, cameras installed and basic central control system. I had many vendors come in for quotes including the building recommended company and several other shops I got recommendations from â most of which that did high end installs using control-4 or Savant systems. Of the 5 vendors I had, Victor & Elias (and their team) came in and sent a detailed quote the next day. Everyone else took 5-25 days for them to send a) super long quotes with a lot of unnecessary stuff (thinking I was naïve), b) lots of stuff I ended up realizing I didnâ t need and b) very high prices. Initially, I was a little skeptical of House of Audio because their proposal was just an email and they didnâ t seem to have the marketing polish other companies had. After struggling to find someone else as a reasonable cost (like HoA), I called Victor to work out a few details and got started. Their proposal lined itemed everything out, several of the items were lower price than best online price or ebay, like a high-end sony projector was 1k less than if I went to Amazon or Best Buy. They were ready to start quickly, they didnâ t want anything upfront and were willing to break the job into two parts â the first where they did all the wiring and the second where they installed the equipment. They did a fantastic job. They installed all the equipment at the top of my closet so we could still use the coat closet (other companies said we needed a large rack). The speaker are flush and look/sound great. They did an incredible job installing a projector inside the wall of my ceiling with a small hole for the lens â itâ s completely hidden â itâ s amazing. The nest cameras wiring is also hidden, the wifi is installed behind the walls so you donâ t have to see any of the transmitters and I can control everything using very simple technologyâ ¦.Sonos, Spotify & Alexa; lastly, they gave me this remote that controls the main systemsâ ¦easy to use, works great and when combined with Apple TV â my 6 year has a perfect command of the entire system. When they were installing everything â if I didnâ t like it or wanted something different, they didnâ t make me feel badâ ¦they were happy to make me happy, even if I was a bit crazy. We did have a few problems. A few days in the projector started to not work randomly and the sound was a little off. Lastly, we couldnâ t control the volume with the APPLE TV remote. I called up Elias and he was â Johnny on the spotâ . He came over a few days later and discovered the brand new Denon receiver was broken. So he drove to best buy, got me a temporary (lower end one) and fixed the system. A week or so later, he came back, installed the new replacement receiver plus gave me a fan system in the closet to make sure nothing gets too hot. He also made it so I can control everything from the Apple TV remote. They ate the cost for the best buy receiver temp. Their pricing was close to half of others including all the labor and coming back. They didnâ t sell me anything I didnâ t need, everything works great and only got really expensive stuff for the core items (projector, receiver, speakers). One of the other vendors was trying to sell me a Cisco WIFI system that had an annual license feeâ ¦meanwhile, the Ubiquity one they gave me is better and less than half the cost. Very happyâ ¦highly recommend them.

Victor and his team were great. They provide great options for your A/V needs and do not try to up sell you. The entire team is very professional and took the time to set everything up correctly and to teach us how to use it. I highly recommend them.

They definitely know what they're doing. Victor and Elias are professional and personable. I was uncertain about the universal remote but they made the case. I'm glad I made the purchase because it tied the whole system together seamlessly. This group will be my go to for any future electronic equipment that needs a complex setup

This is my third time using "The House of Audio". My receiver died on me. Within 3 days of my phone call, they were able to come out to replace my receiver and reprogram my remote. They were early, tidy, knowledgeable, efficient and professional as always. I will definitely use them again.

He did not push and gave me all the info I needed to make my decision. Once ordered, the work was finished on time as promised. I couldn't be happier with the final results. My family is enjoying the family room TV with 5 channel audio system everyday since the isntallation.

When I started planning my home theater, I did extensive research. I checked several of the most reputed web sites for expert advice, browsed several online stores to compare prices and visited a couple renowned chain retailers. I patiently and methodically searched for the best product at the best price. I was a bit reluctant to visit The House of Audio thinking they would be more expensive but I couldn’t be more wrong. Victor came to my house, looked at the place and took note of my wish-list and budget. Within 24 hours he emailed me the suggested configuration and components, all of them premium brands. I was very surprised when I compared his prices with everybody else since he was consistently lower than ALL his competitors (on line and retail stores). When the goods arrived, the subwoofer carton was a bit crushed on top. I am sure that inside everything was fine though since they are packed to withstand this kind of hits. Just to be safe, I mentioned this issue to Victor and without hesitating he offered me to replace it right away. Two days later, the replacement unit was ready for me to pick up. Bottom line, I strongly recommend The House of Audio. You get expert advice, great dependable service and the best prices in the market.

Very clean work, knew exactly what they were doing, kept within schedule, professional, were able and willing to take time to explain and advise, and ran a tight shop. Highly recommended.

My home theatre was installed in March of 2016. I initially set up an appointment with Victor to visit my home to discuss my thoughts on what I wanted, and get his expertise on my plans. He was very professional and was prompt when showing up. He was very knowledgeable and articulate, and also did a very good job of developing my trust and respect. A few noteworthy items was i) he requested to not pay him until I had a smile on my face and everything was installed (not even a deposit), ii) check his prices against external sources to ensure he was giving the best rate and ii) he promised he would be there the entire day of the install so that there was no confusion on what I was promised, and what they delivered. He arrived on the day of the install with his whole crew (exactly on time). They did an outstanding job, were very knowledgeable on all the equipment, and just genuinely good and nice people. They also patched an additional hole I had in the basement for free since they had to cover other holes made during the install. That was very kind and generous of them, and I truly appreciate it. It is a true reflection of how Victor and team do business, and I would 100% recommend him. It can be difficult to let someone in your house and do the amount of work they had to do (hiding all the wires and setting up everything was so much more work than I initially thought!), but the House of Audio is the company to put your trust in, and they will do an exceptional job.
