Worst moving experience ever. They didn't do a walk through at the end of the moving and they actually left furniture behind. They left their empty water bottles and paper towels all over the house. They damaged the walls in my new house. They damaged my dining set. When I called them back about the furniture they left behind, they said they have to charge me to send someone out again. Their customer service is just terrible. I paid ton of money and I actually tipped those guys very generously not realizing all the damage they did. I would not recommend this company at all. They did a horrible job. Moving is stressful enough. Don't hire them and add more stress to it.

The estimate (binding) started off at 1174.00 and I accepted it. I called Vanessa at New Jersey Transport and told her the storage unit size and some of the items in the unit. The price went up to 1730.00 and I accepted that as a change. The movers were to arrive between noon and four on 9/22/2017. The movers called several times because they were delayed. They arrived at approximately six o'clock. They looked at the unit and said it was going to cost me 5,000. They had already started putting stuff in the truck (Pensky truck) and I told them that was not what I had agreed to and that was too much. I asked them to remove the stuff from the truck and put it back in the unit. I was told they would give me a better deal at 3,000. By then it was very dark and I was in an unlit area with three strange men. I had been lighting the unit with my car lights so they could see. They said I had too much stuff and that was all they would take unless I paid more. So it was now up to 3,800. I signed because only about half was on the truck. Just before the loading was complete the main guy said that was all they could take. "Will you pay?' I said yes because about 95 per cent was already on the truck and I couldn't leave a few boxes in the unit. It didn't make sense so I signed another contract for 4475.00. I called the BBB and was told that if I filed a complaint before I received my belongings that I might never get them. The move was to be in Oceanside on October 1, 2017. So on or about the 16th I called New Jersey transport and was told they tried to get ahold of me and that my mail box was full. (I had one old message in voice mail) I was told the number to contact the mover. When I called and asked where he was....he said Mississippi. My belongings arrived in Oceanside on October 18th. I paid the remainder in cash as they requested. Had I been told up front the move was going to cost over 4,000 I may or may not have gone with the cost. I'm not sure. But the way they went from 1167 to 4475 was like a bait and switch. I would never recommend them to move anything.

If i could give this company negative stars i would. This is the WORST COMPANY EVER. DO NOT USE THEM. They put our items in storage twice, and they never were supposed to go into storage. This violated our contract with insurance. The long a 30 year old piece of furniture, cannot find it anywhere. Didn't know if it was in one of the storage units they supposedly never put it in or with a different customer. They we needed to file an insurance claim and NJT asked that we lie to insurance and say that the item was never in storage. They were supposed to use piano PROFESSIONALS to transport a 30 year old piano and did not. They had to deliver the furniture 2x bc the first time they arrived they did not have the specialist, and yet again in the 2nd deliver did not have a specialist. Piano is completely banged up. They do not call back promptly, they do not take responsibility for their actions, they do not call delivery times and do not deliver when they tell you they will. This doesn't even scratch the surface of emotional pain they have caused over the past month. DO NOT USE THEM!!

The sales person couldn't have been nicer or more helpful!!  Talked me through the whole process and had many helpful tips.  The guys arrived on time and were polite, there was no "loafing around" with this group.  They were quick and efficient.  My belongings arrived safe, on time and they were patient with me on where to put things on delivery.  Great Job!!
