First of all, there was a great 60% off sale for three pieces or more. That gave me the incentive to finally frame these pieces. I have little experience and was unsure how to approach it. Two young women helped me. Both had been well trained and tested in order to work in custom framing. Both were also friendly, patient, skilled in the nuts and bolts of it as well as talented in the aesthetics of framing. They allowed me room to try certain things even when they knew they weren't the best solutions. They made recommendations for me that worked out very well. There were many options in mat colors, textures and in frames. The finished pieces were ready on time and were perfectly done. I also realized that I didn't have to do a custom framing job on ALL the pieces I had brought -- there were good solutions in the stock frames and mats for several of them, allowing me to save more money.
