Traded in jewelery. Insulted my jewelery--asked if it was real! Said old and dated. Purchased for significant extra cost a diamond ring. Would/could not give me carat weight of diamonds. Diamond fell out within a week. Michael Corbo said I should have known diamonds would fall out--nature of this type of setting. Only wore ring to work, and have an office job. I was not abusing this ring! My take was he is the jeweler and expert--he was obligated to inform the consumer of the fragile nature of ring. With great resistance and difficulty, allowed to exchange ring. Store now had a large sign offering 30% off. Asked if he would do price adjustment--no. Accepted return, but still would not offer percentage off a replacement ring. Offered percentage off on a new purchase only. Basically told me my tough luck. With each purchase asked for documentation for insurance purposes with diamond weight and quality, and metal type. Never provided documentation, even after several requests. Does not care about customer. I went to this store because family member bought very expensive diamond engagement ring. Too bad he does not care!
