Horrible. The pick up date for loading was 8/2 and we heard nothing about them contracting an outside mover's services. I contacted them several times (I still have the e-mails) about not hearing from anyone until Manchester Moving (the company Continental Relocations hired without telling us) arrived to load. The paperwork from Manchester Movers was double the amount quoted to us. I had not heard from anyone as the date for deilvery approached, and did not receive call backs or e-mails asking about the pick up date. Manchester Movers arrived on 8/2 and loaded the stuff, then gave a price that was double the original estimate. The price also included 91 rolls of tape for $300.00. I attempted to contact Continental Relocation and was told someone would return my call, or Tom, I believe the customer service person was out ill. After finding out that the material was still in warehouse in Chicago when it was supposed to be in transit, we were told it could be two weeks, maybe more and if I didn't like it I could move it myself. Because my son was returning from Iraq and my daughter-in-law and 3 month old granddaughter could not live in an empty apartment, we rented a uhaul, picked up the stuff from the warehouse and moved it ourselves, incurring even more cost. We were still billed for 2,330 for the move from Manchester Movers.
Description of Work: We contacted 10 companies for the move from the Chicago area to Seattle, and chose this company because they had a reasonable price, (not the lowest) could deliver when we needed it -on around 8/17, and they had an A rating on Angie's Web. We explained that my daughter-in-law and 3 month old baby would be moving into an apartment and our son would be returning from Iraq to join them. This move was not a whole house move, as my daughter-in-law was living with her parents until my son returned from Iraq after being deployed for 12 months.
