remodeling
 + -1 moreI have not done the work yet, but I am in the process of signing with another contractor. Steve was responsive and came to the house twice, for the original plan and the altered one. His quote was slightly higher than other contractors and he had a more complicated structure. He offered for me to be the GC and work with and pay the subcontractors separately, but it did not seem reflected in the quote he gave me. I was up front that the the first quotes I heard were high and I had to change the job. He seemed to want to please me, but by offering to change the job further to something that I did not want and which was not cheaper than what I wanted! I just was a little frustrated in negotiating with him. He seemed to assume that he knew what I wanted.
Description of Work: A 4 bedroom, 3 bath, add a level and kitchen remodel, which was altered to a 3 bedroom, 2 bath dormer and no kitchen. Approx. Cost: $100,000.00
