Used Angie's list Big Deal for the pump. The rest was done because no water remediation had ever been installed in my basement. Once date was set, three men came to install pump. They were pleasant and efficient. Offered guarantees on work.

All went great. Provider removed old pumps, I had two, and PVC piping.
Installed pumps with new piping and enlarged sump pump tank water seepage holes.

I needed someone to come quickly, and Franco came within an hour. I had to go to work, so we communicated via phone and he was helpful in explaining the problems that he found and what he felt would be a perm solution. Mostly, I appreciated his quick response to my home.

I first called Effective Basement Solutions in the summer for a basic basement inspection and evaluation based on a promotion they were running through Angie's List. Franco came and performed the inspection. He was very instructive and clear in explaining what I needed to do and why. He also provided several recommendations on other work I could to do stop some water intrusion issues and explained what the purpose would be. There was no pressure and he left me a very detailed estimate and indicated they were ready to do the work whenever I was ready. Of course, I got sidetracked. Six months later, I call Franco and he was ready, willing and able to do the sump pump install immediately. They came the next day and not only honored the estimate that was given, but installed the new basin, pump and piping required. They were in fact, efficient, fast and effective. I would definitely use this company again and recommend their services without reservation based on my experiences with them.

Franco and his crew came on time and did a very thorough installation of a French drain. His price was the best of 4 contractors I got estimates from. He was very accommodating and willing to work with you on fine details of the project. Overall the work went very well, and 2 years later our basement is nicely dry

Franco really knows his stuff, and is very personable. He has very good knowledge about basement waterproofing and sump pump installation.Franco and his team did an awesome job. Very nice and neat work, our home and belongings were well-protected, and cleanup was thorough.
Bottom line: There are a lot of companies out there who will try to sell you a major basement system that you don't need, or that won't solve your exact problem. Franco talked us through all the details and variables, and he recommended we try the easy and less expensive solution first.
We are very hopeful it will solve the problem, but if not we will not hesitate to hire Effective Basement Solutions again.

By the time he arrived it was hours after the scheduled start so we had to pick another date. But that was forgotten quickly on date of service, as Franco and his team did an awesome job. He came and installed a sump pump. I still have the same leakeage. The issue was not diagnosed properly. He rescheduled several times before finally coming out again. Every time they came out for the appointment they were late.

"The work performed was to install a sump pit liner and a sump pump zoeller m53 with a discharge line out side the house : WORK WAS DONE AS AGREED " COSTUMER THANK US AND PAID FOR THE PROJECT ! this work usually help to alleviated the water table and seepage may stop " also costumer was notified that a french drain system was NEED TO BE INSTALL on the perimeter of the foundation ,but they didn't want to expend that kind of money on the basement " some seepage continue on the wall we went there 2 times even seal the crack on the wall free of charges for the costumer " we explain to the costumer that we would bound with our insurance and give a life time warranty on the basement against any seepage if costumer invested on a french drain system along the perimeter of the foundation connect to the sump pit that was already install "costumer couldn't understand that the sump pit alone wasn't enough we try this approach first to help the costumer with his budge but obvious we would assure " costumer will encounter the same situation on any water proofer out there ' we were there to do what we were suppoused do and work as done as agreed ""
