"Our notes and telephone conversations with this client were reviewed. We were very clear about quoting the structural inspection with a verbal consultation which was confirmed in email direct to her. The client ordered, received and paid for an inspection with a verbal consultation only. We highly recommend for the client to be present at the time of inspection. This client elected not to be present. The third party family member who attended did not provide the client with the total structural deficiency condition. Almost a year later this client makes comments and demands a written narrative. We responded to the client within 1 day of her call and my last comment was: ?please tell me what you would like for us to do for you?. To date, we have not received a response from the client other than this rating with unjust and misguided comments."

Somehow I truly believe you should re-consider as I looked up our performance records for your job and find your comment "it took a while to get the final plans but we were happy with the result" was not correct! We received your check on 9-15-17 and the Engineering Documents were completed and to you on 9-18-17. That is (2-3 biz days) I quote 7-10 biz days! That is a great turnaround! I really don't know what else we could have done so that you could have considered providing us with a 5 Star Rating."

"We were hired to examine a specific structural issue with the home the client was trying to purchase. The home was experiencing foundation settlement which was quickly identified upon arrival. We explained the situation thoroughly and offered options and opinions of costs to remedy the issue. We were not in any hurry, and asked repeatedly if there were any other issues that he wanted us to examine and if he had any further questions or concerns. The report was competed and delivered to him the following day. Our flat rate fee's are based upon the average of our total amount of time. This includes inspection time, report writing time, travel time and miscellaneous office administration time. This particular client was up against a time constraint which we achieved for him without going above our normal everyday fee's for the same service."

"We quoted fair and reasonable fees for the services provided prior to performing any work. The final design drawings were completed and sent within 5 working days from the initial appointment. We are baffled at this customers comments. Her husband authorized us to prepare the engineering drawings to fix her severely sagging floor that she has lived with for ten years. We service over 300 customers per year. A very small fraction of these customers, we just can't satisify completely, no matter what we do (human nature we guess). This is clearly the case here. Thank you."
