Initial contact was immediate and an accurate estimate was given right away by Jim. Ed contacted me quickly to schedule install date and even arrived a little early. He was patient, and let me explain some custom work I needed done and was happy to help. This was a nice experience after searching for a long time for this job to be completed. I now have 50+ over the air channels subscription free to every tv in the house and they even helped me get the HAM antenna mounted! Very courteous and professional, I would definitely recommend. As a matter of fact, I may be contacting them again for a job at my mothers house. 

The owner, Jim, contacted me shortly after I sent him an email. He told me what type of antenna he would install, and his fees. The installer, Ed, arrived promptly on the scheduled date. I had told him my roof was accessible with a ladder that I would place on my third floor balcony. He set to work immediately and replaced my Dish antenna with the Winegard antenna he had brought. He tested my three TVs, made several adjustments to the location on the roof, and compared the results with and without signal amplification.We finally decided against amplification, and that we got the best results if the furnished antenna was used for two of the TVs and an antenna I already had was used for the third TV. I paid him $180 for this service plus $89 for the antenna he furnished. I later decided my old antenna that was being used for my third TV was not strong enough, so I bought another antenna and made an appointment to have the old antenna replaced with the one I had just bought. Ed came and did the job. I paid $120 for this second appointment because the bill for each appointment includes a charge for the call and then an hourly charge for the labor. But this is definitely fair and acceptable to me, and I think the total $389 I paid for the antenna they furnished and the two calls is a bargain. It's hard to find someone willing to do this at all, and if you do find someone, it's likely to cost you quite a bit more than I paid Advanced Satellite. Plus I couldn't ask for better service than I received. They worked with me regarding accommodating my work schedule, Ed arrived promptly both times, and he made sure everything was working as well as it could. I wasn't expecting perfect reception because I live in Center City Philadelphia with its tall buildings, but it's actually pretty close to perfect, certainly much better than I ever thought I would get.

Cost was under $300 (one time) but we had an easy install with stairway access to the roof and wiring already in place.
We received a very accurate estimate and scheduling was very  professional even when we had to cancel once and re-schedule and it was handled perfectly.
Would highly recommend to anyone to consider an antenna and look for alternate sources of TV content from other sources than the cable companies. Sources like Netfix, Hulu, Apple TV, DVD, Internet, etc. etc.

First 2 persons contacted claimed they were not able do the job. Both claimed they needed a 40 ft ladder. Jim Thompson came out on a Saturday morning, with a 40 ft ladder to do the installation. Then found he didn't need a 40 ft ladder. First person contacted said over the phone he couldn't do the job. Second person rolled up at 8:15 AM, with 2 trucks, 6 persons, then announced he couldn't didn't have a long enough ladder for the job. Two weeks later he still didn't have the appropriate ladder. However, he could set me up with someone else, at an additional cost.
