The staff at American Federal are terrific. They are extremely professional, responsive and pleasant to deal with.  I never had to wait long for a response. No waiting for an hour and going through impersonal pre-recorded messages and impersonal service.   And, they are knowledgeable and work with you to try to get the mortgage  you want and need. This is in stark contrast to the high pressure tactics I  I experienced with my prior mortgage when every time I spoke with someone they tried to push an ARM on me even though I had made it clear that I only wanted a fixed rate. I have nothing but good things to say about everyone I dealt with --from the loan originator Tony Cancellieri to the processor and to the lender's attorneys. 

It was wonderful. It went very well. It was a lower price than other institutions and the good thing that was about it is that you did your own paper work and I went to the office and just dropped it off.
