Aspen Appliance Service did a good job. The repair was written off on our home warranty and the $100.00 was the deductible.

I would discourage anyone from using Aspen for appliance repairs. Over the course of several months, they worked on repairing our freezer and it was never repaired properly. Finally, I switched to another repair service who informed me that Aspen had installed improper parts (for another less-expensive brand) in our freezer. When I contacted Aspen to express my concerns, I was told by the manager that, "The technician would have to get back to me on that." I never received a return phone call.

The repairman misrepresented the problem and told me I needed an unnecessary repair. He charged me $278 and when it didn't work and I requested the company send the repairman back, they refused and told me I was exaggarating the problem. I found another repairman on Angie's list who, within two minutes, diagnosed the problem and told me there wasn't anything that could be done. I needed to buy a new refrigerator. I told him what Aspen diagnosed and charged me and he informed me that I was "ripped off". He said any reputable repair person could see immediately that the refrigerator was beyond repair. I tried to resolve the problem with Aspen, especially since they have a "90 day warranty on parts & labor" but they ignored my communications. Don't use this company - they are not reputable!
