Stein Rug Cleaning & Repair Inc.

Thieves. Do not use. Engaged for rug cleaning and mold treatment on December 18, 2023. Work completed & delivered on February 6, 2024 and required payment on delivery. Invoice was padded with a "Premium Rug Pad" for $680.23 + 6.625% tax = $733.29 on invoice GF3FLG0. A rug Pad that was never contracted, delivered, or wanted. A bogus charge. Full invoice amount - which included the $733.29 bogus charge - was inadvertently paid by a family member not familiar with the arrangements upon delivery. We've had had no fewer than seven (7) calls and emails with Abraham (Avi) who promises a refund check and follow-up call that never arrives. Clear they have no intention of refunding our money for a rug pad we never ordered or received. Thieves.

Avi was so wonderful to work with. We called Stein to come take our rug after it suffered water damage. We thought it would have to be scrapped. Avi called a day later. Not only was he able to save the rug but he was giving it back to us at no cost! I would highly recommend this company.

Wonderful service! They are very nice people to deal with and the rugs look absolutely amazing, my girlfriend says it looks brand new. If you have an oriental rug this is the company to call.

My wife wanted to clean our wool rug before our new baby is born. Avery came and picked up the rug and also offered the rug pad to add a cusion under the rug to make it better when the baby crowls on. They returned the rug back after 2 weeks and it looked beautiful and the rug pad made it much more comfortable to walk on. We were happy with the fact that they don't use chemicals to clean the rug. Very nice experience and great results.

Outstanding service!!! Professional, highest quality workmanship! I had a rug that we kept rolled up in the garage for 8 years... almost threw it out! Technician came, incredibly knowledgeable, picked up rug... it is like BRAND NEW!!! In addition, there was enough left over that we took his suggestion to make a runner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Rugs were picked up and returned cleaned, but otherwise, I was not terribly impressed. No discount for multiple rugs, we turned down many *optional* services which we did not really need, they say they take credit cards, but then their *machine* is mysteriously not working every time you have to pay, the largest rug was slightly puckered and damp to touch when it was returned. I was home full-time so it was not a problem that driver kept odd, unpredictable hours for pickup and return. But when you add all of this up I would hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

I hired Stein rug cleaning to clean my Persian living room rugs. The fringes were also worn out from many years of vacuuming. I spoke with David over the phone which was very nice and gave me all the information I asked for and next day I called back to schedule. Avri the technician came right on time and was very professional during his rug examination. The price was around what I thought it would be and I felt comfortable handing them my rug. I was told two weeks for the cleaning over the phone but I asked for the repair of the fringes which delayed the return of my rug by another two weeks but I was worth it, they did a phenomenal work on my rug and I was so excited to have company over after I received my rug back. The people I dealt with are reliable, professional and very friendly. I strongly recommend them.
