Modern Stone Design

Very bad experience, not recommended, there are other better vendor with better price and service. They showed a different black piece and installed something different. The stone has a very dusty surface and I am chasing them to fix it. They are keeping me hanging, they first said will send someone to polish it and now they are saying they will share a product pic and I need to do my self.

I just had him install a countertop today. This the 6th time I have used him for countertops. His prices are fair but his turn around time is amazing. Once I pick the stone it is usually installed within 3 days.

Unfortunately I do not have a good review to give. My husband and I selected a specific slab of granite as we like the coloring and movement. I wanted the light greys/whites/creams/browns. What we received today was not what we ordered. Very heavy dark blacks and it was impossible to find any pattern matching to the picture of our slab. All this after TWO no call no shows. The first was for the measurements, no one ever came, I called a couple hours after they were due to a half hearted apology and a reschedule for the next day. Install was set up for yesterday, again no call/no show, so I called 2 hpurs after our schedule time for an update to another half hearted apology asking to reschedule the next day. Today was install and I'm extremely dissatisfied, it is not what we ordered/wanted. I was told I would be called to look at it template out on the slab to make sure we were happy with the pattern prior to it being cut, that never happened. So now I have a brand new kitchen that I hate. The pictures show the slab we picked versus the dark black patched that we received.

We really needed a new countertop installed immediately after having been without kitchen for over 3 months. We shopped around Cherry Hill area and finally found Modern Stone Design company on route 70. Guaranteed we could have our new countertop installed within 4 days. Trust me the best price & customer service around!

One of the pieces was off color and cut a half an inch short. Max never got back to me like he said he would about fixing the problem. Said he would send me a partial refund. Never sent it. Told me the check got lost. Said he would send the check again. Stay away from this guy he has is as dishonest as they get.

The transaction went smoothly initially, but then we encountered an issue with a stain in the granite tops as a result of chemical reaction to the products used during the installation. Max was contacted IMMEDIATELY about the issue and it took him SEVERAL months of multiple excuses on his part regarding his availability and whereabouts and unanswered attempts to contact him, to send someone out to try and remove the stain. This was after being told the stain would remove itself to even attempt made on his part to blame the stain on my husband and I. After waiting several months to have the stain removed, the stain is still in our granite and Max is refusing to respond to any of our inquiries. As I stated before, the work was done nicely, but if you encounter an issue after installation BEWARE. I would never use them again myself or recommend that anyone use them.
