James Bianchi Siding & Windows

The worst ROOFING experience a person could ever have. I contracted him to Install new shingles and any rotted plywood that needed to be replaced. We also had some damage from a raccoon that needed to be fixed. I had to go to work on the day of installation and when I got home I found out they shingled over the raccoon hole and did not replace any of the plywood. It is now five years later and I now need a whole new roof and every piece of plywood replaced which is going to cost me an additional $20,000. Some of the plywood Jim shingled over was the original plywood from 1962. DO NOT USE JAMES BIANCHI

I did not have a good experience. I hired Jim to do some minor repairs to 3 windows, siding, and soffit. On the day scheduled, he did not bring what was needed to fix one of the windows. He gave some story that the parts were expensive and he was going to try and source them cheaper and then “come back”. As for the other windows, he did a pretty good job, except upon further inspection a week later, I noticed that a nail from the exterior was protruding into the interior of my home. I notified Jim, stated he needed to take a look at it, and never heard back. As for the siding repair, I needed a foot long section of siding replaced due to it being missing. The home has smooth aluminum siding and he replaced it with a textured piece. Never said anything about it not going to be a similar piece. Just slapped on what he had lying around and went along his way. I would not recommend them for your needs.

James showed up in the rain and walked me through a tour of what he felt needed to be repaired on my siding. Gave me two estimates for a basic repair versus a more permanent solution to my siding problem. Decided to go with the more comprehensive job of replacing all the rotting soffit wood and then covering the wood with vinyl siding to prevent the problem from reoccurring in the future. Arrived a couple of days later and did the work quickly and professionally. Job looks great and replaced siding matches my home's color flawlessly. Job site was completely cleaned up as if no one had been there. Great overall experience.

He is professional courteous and kind. We were so lucky he was willing to come and rescue us from someone else's poor workmanship for a small price

We used Jim before. Just like teh initial time; Jim's work and professionalism was top notch, Would recommend.

Although we did not use Jim to providing siding for our home, I wanted to take the time to write this review. Jim was very responsive, informative and professional. He took extra time to drop extra samples off to our home. The only reason we did not use Jim was pricing. We were on a limited budget and went with a contractor whose price was lower.

The work is excellent. We are extremely happy with the siding. Looks great from a distance and even better up close as the details around windows, doors, corners, etc. is very clean and precise. House has some odd corners and roof lines and all was handled very well. The price of the work came in well under the next nearest estimate and included the removal of our previous asbestos siding. None of the other contractors we received estimates from would do that for anywhere near a comparable price. Mr. Bianchi was very helpful after the initial estimate when we requested a slightly different model (same brand) of siding in order to get the exact color we wanted. Only critique was that the job took slightly longer than expected, but for the price and quality this was not an issue. Would absolutely use again. Looking to do storm doors and windows in the near future.

After I had received an initial estimate for exterior trim work (capping wood on an attached shed, outside our family room, our screened in porch, and around garage doors), I decided to get a second estimate from Jim Bianchi. He was extremely responsive in that he came by the day after I contacted him, and by the next day or two he provided a written estimate, along with a list of references . I liked him very much, but I liked the first party as well, so since the estimates were quite close, I decided to go with my first contact. Based on my limited contact with Jim, I would certainly recommend him.

I have no complaints. Their price was comparable. They were very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. I asked him a lot of questions and he was very patient with me.

He is the one who is going to do the siding for us. We like him. He is wonderful, courteous, knowledgeable and informative. He always calls when he says he is going to call. He is an all around nice guy. The estimate was for $18,000. I highly recommend him. It is a family-owned business. He is really punctual and an honest guy. We have absolute faith in him. We have not got the job done yet. We are all working on it, picking out colors and things like that. We would use him again in the future.

we have used them a couple of times earlier. We used him and he was fine and there were no problems. He did a great job and was reasonably priced. He was pretty quick at responding back. He did a real good turn around. I don't really have anything to compare him to. We have asked him to stop and give us a quote for something that we missed out the previous time he was here.

It went good overall. He was fast, clean, and had an experienced crew. He provided good workmanship at a good price. I would refer him to my family and friends.
