Jim and his crew are great guys, they were all friendly, courteous, talented and very careful with our home covering floors and protecting furniture. They cleaned up after each day, removing much of the demolition/construction debris.
Jim told us what to expect from start to finish. When I asked him to call me daily with progress reports and the next days agenda, he readily complied.
They never left the work space open to the elements or insecure. When we asked for adjustments or something redone, it was handled professionally and timely. The crew was willing to listen to what we wanted and offered useful suggestions.
Since we chose to purchased many of the supplies on our own, I appreciated Jim's itemized cost proposal, letting us know up front his estimated allowance for all components.
Jim's pay as you go policy, the homeowner sees the finished product before he asks for payment.
They were very close to completing within the time frame of the project. We are very happy with the results and will use JMJ again for our next remodel.

Job was completely with excellence and on budget

I initially called them to make an estimate in August. I was impressed by Jim's promptness, thoroughness, and professionalism. I had first stated that we wanted to just replace the old laminate floor, but when I called him back to ask him to also make an estimate if we went with tile, he did this quickly, after helping me think through the advantages and disadvantages of both options. His estimate seemed fair and we resolved to go with him. Various events and family emergencies delayed my getting back to him. When I did call him, at my request he sent me a new copy of the estimate (I had misplaced the original) along with an itemized list of the quantities of materials (tile, paint, etc) I would need to order. He and his crew began the job when promised, and interactions with them were easy and pleasant. Jim kept in touch by phone during the preparation for the job, and as it was progressing. The job took a day or so longer than originally forecast, because I had forgotten that the original estimate was based on using the same color paint as we had had previously, and I bought a different color. He was very understanding and the slight increase in labor cost for the extra time was more than reasonable. The work looks good. I would hire them again or recommend them to someone else without reservation.

I would definitely call JMJ if I had to do more work in our house! Everything went good.

They are just terrific and are very reliable. The workmanship is excellent the prices are reasonable and I have highly recommended them.

They are one of the best contractors I have ever dealt with. They are on time. They are on budget. They are polite and clean. I would recommend them unconditionally for any work to anybody wanted done. I didn't think such a contractor would exist because we had really bad experience with other contractors. These folks are the real deal. They do quality work at a reasonable price. Jim is the head of the company. He gave us an honest estimate. He bends over backward to stick to it. They have done several jobs for us in last three years. If there is a problem after the job is finished, he is extremely conscientious about coming back and addressing the problem usually at no or very minimal cost. He stands behind his work. We found him through Angie's list. I wouldn't even bother with anybody else at this point. He has done a lot of repairing work for us.

JMJ Construction does excellent work at fair prices. The JMJ crew started promptly at 8:30am on Saturday morning. Jim and his crew stayed until approximately 8:30pm to make sure the job was finished. Jim is an honest man who actually charged me less than his estimate!!! This is the second time I have used JMJ. Approximately 2 years ago, JMJ completely remodeled our powder room downstairs. I would not hesitate to recommend JMJ's services.

They did an excellent job and we were very pleased with them. We got very good value for what we spent. We couldn't of been happier with the level of service and the timing. They were very good.

They did an absolutely beautiful job. They specialize in interior and exterior renovations, and no job is too small for them.
