Response was excellent.  I was told via e-mail sent on Saturday that  I would be contacted on Monday.  I had a phone call on Monday morning at 9:AM, a person came to look at the job at 10:AM and the job was completed by the same  afternoon.  It's very important to me to get a quick response and J CWanger came through with flying colors.  I probably could have gotten the job done for less money, but they were responsive and professional.

They returned my calls promptly. Got the work done within a few days.

Contractor was very punctual for both the estimate and work.  Work was delayed about a week because of uncertain weather (no chances being taken by them).  Crew chief was very experienced, encouraged questions and did not rush to put the roof on before examining every inch and discussing it fully with me.  Turns out that additional work was needed to repair a window sill (my carpenter will do it) but they left it water tight.  I emailed Genl Mgr Jeff several days later with a question on the roof.  His crew was back over within hours to ensure there was no problem.  (there was not).  This company and crew is very professional and responsive.  Price was in range of others...maybe 2-3% more, and worth it.  If I need other roof work I will call these guys.

They arrived and got to work straight away, the smell from the squrrels was very overpowering but the workers were very fast and professional.After they sealed up the roof and soffit, they also added starter shingles that were missing, a few other damaged shingles, and caulked a few windows for us. Highly recommended. They were very professional and they did a fantastic job. We will definately use the again.

We had several quotes done and J Cwagner was one of the two to make it
to the final list.  Both quotes offered the same materials and pretty
much the same warranty, JC's quote was a few hundred dollars more, but
it was the better professionalism and no pressure tactics that made us
choose him.
The crew showed up on time and was very courteous.  They did a real good
job of keeping the mess to a minimum.  Either things got moved out of
the way or they got covered with tarps. At the end of each day the owner
and/or the general manager stopped by and did an inspection.  On the
final day, there were a couple of minor things which were taken care of
immediately.
Following Hurricane Sandy, to my surprise, a couple
of ridge shingles blew off.  These were fixed the same day we notified
JC about it.
Overall, it was a great experience and I would not hesitate to use this company again.

We discovered rotted fascia and some areas of our roof that needed attention and set about getting estimates. We received 3 estimates and VERY different opinions on our roof. One company wanted to replace the whole roof, another said we could either repair a few things or replace. Jeff at Cwanger was confident that our 15 year old roof did not need replacement yet. While Cwanger's estimate was slightly higher than one of the other 2 estimates for repairs we went with them because of their knowledge and attention to detail. Jeff also noticed a few things we had been questioning but not sure of on a brand new section of roofing. Hip shingles should have been used but were not, Jeff felt this was a fault that could cause problems down the road. Overall our job consisted or removing our gutters, replacing all the fascia behind the gutters, rewrapping fascia with aluminum capping, replacing the gutters (which they also cleaned), placing flashing between the garage and main roofline and reshingling those areas and replacing standard shingles with hip shingles on a small addition. Cwanger was quite busy and we did need to wait a couple of weeks but our job was not an emergency as we had no current leaks. Cwanger was exactly on the mark when they gave us an estimated start date. The crew was fast and thorough. They left the driveway and surrounding house as clean as before they arrived. When Jeff returned for a final inspection we noticed 2 items that we thought needed some additional attention (ripped shingle and gutter not hung properly) and Jeff himself pointed out something he wanted fixed (additional hip shingle needed). He sent his guys back to our house the next day to complete the minor fixes. Overall I cannot imagine a better experience with a contractor - great communication, excellent work and a reasonable price. We would recommend Jeff and Cwanger roofing to anyone looking for roof services. 

Wind damage to our home, in August 2011, went unattended because one company who quoted went out of business, one refused to quote and one quoted a patch repair. A call to Cwanger (based upon a good roofing experience) resulted in removal and replacement of corner posts, a replacement of 'dental molding' and a closer panel replacement for the one which had anchored the Fios cable and closed off the fascia void. All the new material was pre-primed and pre-painted and the overall result was like new and completely satisfactory. Cwanger does not hesitate to do a little unspecified work, if appropriate, with no additional charge.

We have no complaints.  They have always been prompt and professional.  Saved our butts when a large tree fell on our house, at two AM, on a Sunday morning - in a rain storm.  They we're out within hours to patch the hole and prevent any further water damage.

This job went like clockwork.  Jules provided an estimate which we accepted and told us what day he expected to have the materials and be ready to start and how long he expected the job to take.They arrived on the planned day with a crew of 3 workers.  The workers were very professional and worked tirelessly during one of the hottest weeks of the summer.

We have used J.Cwanger several times for repairs and have found them to be very responsive even though they didn't lay the problem roof.  We have recommended him to close friends with great success.

We absolutely cannot say enough good things about Jules and his team.

Love this company.  Really go the extra mile.  Had a tree fall on the house several years ago -- they showed up on a Sunday, in the rain, and repaired the roof and gutter.  The owner was in Florida, on vacation, and called to see how everything went -- we could not believe it.

They didn't end up doing any work for us and they saved us a lot of money by giving us some advice. We didn't end up having to have the work done at all. They were a pleasure to deal with.

The company representative showed up on time for the estimate to clean the drains. We also discussed and he gave me a price on power washing the entire house and concrete patio. Once engaged to clean the gutters, on the date and time the work was scheduled, he did not show up. Once I called him, he gave me a later time, but assured me he was coming to do the first part of the work - cleaning the gutters. He arrived about two hours after the appointed time and brought a "helper" who did not seem to know what he was doing. Once the "finished" cleaning the gutters, I paid him the $80.00. It rained the next day and the same problem that existed prior to the gutters being cleaned. I called the representative to express my dissatisfaction. He sent another crew out to clean the gutters again. This time it appears that the gutters are clean. Needless to say, I cancelled any other business with this company such as powerwashing the house or the patio! It is a shame that contractors cannot be trusted for quality work. The aggravation was not worth the price.

I would give them an A. The quality of their work was superior. They were very reliable and they were willing to work with me and other contractors to ensure that the product was completed on a timely basis, and that the quality of the work was first rate. They are really able to communicate with the client. I knew at all times what they were doing and the progress they were making.

Company showed up on time to render estimate and then arrived on the promised date and time to perform the work. The work was completed in the promised time frame and cleanup was performed using a dumpster which was promptly removed after completion.
