When I moved into my house in May of 2012, I signed up for Comcast cable and internet services. The introductory pricing was fair, but the installation was quite a headache. The picture on my TV was fuzzy and pixelated, despite it being a brand new HD TV. It turns out that the Comcast worker who performed the installation did it incorrectly (and had a track record for making mistakes). Comcast sent out a different worker to fix things. He totally replaced the cables outside of my house to make sure they were new and done correctly. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and did a great job. Unfortunately, that man's dedication and skill has been one of the only positive experiences I've had with Comcast.
Since then, things have been terrible. My monthly bill almost ALWAYS has incorrect charges on it. Prices have skyrocketed, and the customer service reps are often rude and unhelpful...even though the only reason I ever call is to point out Comcast's ridiculous billing mistakes.
I am planning on switching to Verizon Fios as soon as it becomes available in my neighborhood.
