SEAS Designs, is fully equipped to solve your building problems. We maintain a suite of calibrated test equipment and can perform infrared analysis, laser testing, blower door testing, duct testing, combustion testing and moisture testing as required for your project.

They assessed project, did preliminary design, got helical pile subcontractor. We paid for soil and test drilling, and for topological survey as requested. The sub contractor hired to do scaffolding never did it, so we had to arrange that. So after 4 months of all the prep and 3 or 4 site visits by the engineer, we were ready to go. They never produced the design. After 2 months of emailing and calling we never got a single response. So we were out a couple grand engineering fee, and lost the entire build season. Had to start all over. (This was for a collapsing Livingroom on piers, so it was kind of urgent.) Trying to decide if it is worth going to small claims court to recover our feet. But the big problem is it just did not get done and the engineer just ghosted us, very unprofessional.

"This review is for work in 2018 and is untruthful and false. Client stop responding to our calls. We have no history of emails or voicemail follow up from them. We performed a site visit after we had no response from the client and found illegal, dangerous and improper work started without permits and not according to any engineering drawings or instructions we provided."

Greg worked closely with us to identify and understand several structural issues on a home we were purchasing. Ultimately, Gregs expertise allowed us to identify issues that the town inspectors and our home inspector did not flag, but which were critical issues that would have become major problems down the road. Greg went above and beyond with his time, assisting the contractor in proper implementation of the repairs and continually flagging issues when they arose during the work. Amazing!!! It was a great experience with Greg. His charges are very reasonable and affordable and don’t even think twice to go with him. Greg was very thorough and spent close to 3 hours going over the different areas of my house that needed attention. He took numerous measurements and photographs and took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on so I could intelligently convey it to the contractors. He also provided a written report with photographs, although that was a little delayed. He also made me feel that I can follow up with questions if need be as the project progresses. I would definitely recommend Greg and SEAS.

He was on time and very professional. I also appreciated the fact that he took his time and sometimes reexamined an area that he already looked at. He was patient and explained what he saw and provided me with clear recommendations. For instance, he recommended extending my drainage tubes so the water flows away from the house. I checked a few other companies and his price was reasonable.
