Kitchen Intuitions

My husband and I were looking to expand our current kitchen this summer. We visited several local kitchen showrooms including Kitchen Intuitions in Chatham. Actually they were the first store we visited and met Kim who impressed us on that first day. At the time we were simply researching and didn't have a final design in mind. We discussed some ideas with her and she called us back within the hour to give us some budget prices. After visiting several other places and talking to a number of contractors, we shortlisted Kitchen Intuitions and one other company. We went back to their Chatham store and met with Kim again. This is when things started going downhill. She seemed distracted, very unsure of herself and we found ourselves making suggestions instead of the other way around. We figured she was having an off day and decided we should proceed with another appointment in our home. We also asked her for some references. At first she informed us that we should just look at project photos on their Facebook page. When we persisted she gave us two phone numbers. We talked to both customers and got a lukewarm review. We were told they had communication problems, schedule issues etc. Needless to say this made us a little ill at ease. In the meantime we had set up the home appointment. We decided to discuss these issues with her instead of canceling the appointment. She never showed up! And there was no phone call or email afterwards. Absolutely no communication. We are not happy with the lack of professionalism on Kitchen Intuitions' part. We understand people forgetting appointments but to NOT follow up with a phone call or email is inexcusable. Kitchen renovations are expensive and a very big project. So beware of this company.
