Argent Plumbing & Heating is family owned and operated and was established by its founder Nicolas Argenziano in 1989. Argent Plumbing & Heating is a fully insured and licensed New Jersey Plumbing business that has been providing 24 hour seven day a week plumbing, heating, cooling, mechanical and drain cleaning service in central and northern New Jersey for over 20 years. We provide quality and dependable service at reasonable rates to all clients. We pride ourselves in maintaining one of the highest return client percentages in our service area, while establishing new client’s on a daily basis. Argent Service Trucks are fully stocked to meet most of your service needs. We also maintain a full inventory of products, including water heaters, boilers and pumps, in our own 3,500 square foot warehouse allowing us to provide you with real 24 hour service. WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! We had a gas leak and scheduled a cost estimate on the next day of the storm. Then Argent started play their tricks. We only had one place having gas leak for sure and another place might be a potential leak require further check. Argent directly said both piple need to be fixed for sure and the estimate would be more than $1400. And when we wanted to see the cost estimate for fixing only one place. Argent told us EITHER FIX BOTH OR NOTHING! OK, without any detection or inspection on whether the second place had gas leak for sure, Argent already told me I have to fix them all and pay them the amount way out your expectation. Argent was telling me what kind of service I can buy. Well played!!! Then I paid them the unprofessional inspection or check for $99 and sent them out. We have someone else fix the issue next day with $500 and after detail checking the second place DO NOT HAVE LEAK AT ALL. AVOID THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL,ARRAGANT AND MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE OTHERS

had a terrible 2 week period in the house when 2 different toilets broke, the a/c wouldn't start up for the season, and the hot water heater failed. they took care of every problem fully and quickly, even coming back later the same day to finish one repair that required an electrician to complete some work before they could finish.

Argent Plumbing & Heating provided excellent service. The company installed 2 high efficiency boilers and 2 indirect water heaters in my home. Their price for equipment, materials and service was fair, but I must say, their service was unparalleled. The technicians were on time, they were skilled and they maintained the level of professionalism that I expected from this company. I was referred to Argent by a colleague/neighbor of mine, and I will be using their services as my go-to HVAC and plumbing contractor from now on.

I was able to get an appointment a few days after my initial call. Tim and his team were prompt, and had the job completed and cleaned up with incredible speed. Before leaving, he reviewed the completed work and pointed out the various parts and settings on my new water heater.

It was not a fun experience. It started well and went downhill. He was always selling and pushy. He made comments we found very inappropriate -- for example he asked my wife about her socioeconomic class. He promised an estimate that night or tomorrow latest. No estimate came. The next day still nothing so I emailed to follow up and he did not reply. We finally got an estimate the next day but it was incomplete. When I asked for the rest of the estimate he sent me some note I found rude and that his estimate was coming later. I don't want to deal with someone who you have to keep asking for follow up and communications and I don't want someone who, in my opinion, acts inappropriately. Also, he said when he was at our home that in order to price a certain item he would need to inspect the house to make some calculations. As far as we can tell he never inspected and then he sent an estimate anyway. Conclude what you will.

The install was done in a timely manner. However, they left a significant amount of dust and debris after the install. The new vents were installed crooked with pencil lines and gaps where the holes were cut. The units work well initially, but the following summer the unit was not cooling properly. They came out (still under warranty) and said that the refrigerant was low and recharged it. They had replaced all the lines and the units less than 6 months prior - there should have been no leaks. They would not do anymore than recharge the refrigerant. After a few years and continuous issues with low refrigerant, we now have to pay another company to run a test through the entire system to locate and repair the leak.

I called Argent because I use them at my home in Short Hills NJ.  They have always been very reliable and very professional.  I needed them to travel to Hoboken NJ where I have a rental unit and had them replace two custom radiators. 

Nick and his team were terrific.  Mary scheduled and worked with me and my tenants schedule to limit the amount of interruption in the apartment.  Everything was done on time and installed to perfection.  The team that came were very professional and left the apartment so clean my tenant called me that night to make sure that someone showed up.  He was surprised to hear everything was completed.......he couldn't even tell anyone had come because they left the apartment very clean and neat.

I would definitely recommend Argent.

Argent came to fix my tub that kept filling with water during showering. There was a mis-communication about time, but it was very nicely resolved. Argent assessed the situation, asked if I knew the pricing evaluations, and went over everything before the work was started. Considering it was a fairly simple task, Argent spent about 45 minutes doing the job (I have an older home) and cleaned up everything. Overall, I have used Argent in the past and I will continue to use in the future.

Arranged a day and time, they never showed up. Later got a call that they came by took a look (at the generator hookup I presume). I was home the whole time, huge waste of my time. When I called about the mixup, they were unprofessional. Will not use them in the future.

One of the owner proprietors was actually here and helped us almost design our initial plans for the renovation. He was great. He came in and offered his opinions. He was able to give us an estimate quickly. He had his crews come in and validate the estimate and then gave us the contract after the down payment. He's actually very patient as well. They've not minded that we've extended sort of their commitment over more than a year at this point so they've been very flexible and we've been very appreciative. They were able to finish it on a rather short schedule for us and made sure it was done my wife got home from the hospital. They still have a little bit work to finish in the basement once the drywall is done.

Very responsive and professional from first contact all the way thru the repair. We were given an accurate time frame of when to expect a technician, a courtesy call to let us know they were on their way, and on time arrival. Problem was quickly identified and repaired. He took time to replace the leaking pipe with a longer piece of pipe and relocate the feed line to the dishwasher to eliminate the strain that had caused the original leak. He was clean and courteous and double checked everything before leaving to ensure that there were no leaks after he was done. He also addressed a couple other general plumbing / hvac questions that we had while he was here. Compared to where I used to live the service was a little expensive, but the work was very well done and the overall service quality and professionalism were first rate. All in all a little expensive but a great company to deal with. I'd use them again without any hesitation.
