Without going into too much detail, the following are some of the points that I remember:
When excavating the foundation a gas main was hit by the excavator and my neighborhood was closed for two days with floodlights and understandably upset neighbors
- Constant complaining from the subcontractor regarding payments
- Erratic attendance on the site
- I had to take a day off each week to follow sub around and review work
- Flooring creaks, door hanging is crooked, tiling had to be redone, floor had to be redone, HVAC had to be redone, sheetrock
- cracks, window issues
- 'New' driveway laid in December was finally removed and replaced six months later by another company
- Garbage overflowing from stuffed containers lead to numerous neighbor complaints
- Sprinkler backflow system destroyed twice
Finally, Zemrock Contracting, LLC pursued action against me (homeowner) by placing an lien on my residence in violation of NJ laws.
