Although I did not have to repair anything this time and he just reviewed my niece's transmission problem, I would highly recommend him to anyone needing transmission work. I have used him in the past and his work was exceptional.

Everything went well.

Although after everything was said and done, the root problem could not be found. However, he seems to think that my transmission was ok and will have to take a wait and see approach. I trust his judgement and will come back for future repairs if needed.

They did a good job for me. I will use them in the future.

I would recommend Cerdar Groves Transmission to all of my friends. If any future work needs to get done this is where I am taking my car from now on. My car runs great now. Feels new.

First off, I am not familiar with mechanic's concepts or terms and I am NOT a friend, family member or even casual acquaintance of Mike. I simply got referred to Mike by chance. Although I originally (years ago) went to Mike with a transmission problem, he does all kinds of mechanical work. This particular time I had first taken my Jeep to another shop which was AAA endorsed. They checked out my vehicle after keeping it overnight. Next day, they informed me that my repairs estimate was just shy of $400.00! Being cautious, I called CGT, and took my Jeep in the following day. Mike too kept my vehicle overnight and called me the following day with an estimate for approximately $170.00!! Better yet, he fixed it for less! I'd like to think that the other shop was full of incompetents, but that would be naive. In a business of liars and cheats, Mike is a breath of fresh air and although he's about 30 mins. away, I'll trust Mike with my vehicle as long as he's in business!
