I originally hired George to paint my railings which were in terrible shape. They needed to be scraped and sanded and painted. I was thinking of getting new front stops in the next two years, but George power washed my front steps, filled in cement where it was missing and did a great job on the railings. He also put up two light fixtures in the front and back of my house. My steps look like new. George and his crew did a great job. They were neat, friendly and I was very happy with the outcome. It took a longer time than expected because of the weather we were having, but he called when he would be coming back to work on my project. He always showed up and they did a GREAT job. I would hire him again.

They were very efficient and courteous. Their work was done very professionally.

One of the advantages of being an old man living in an old house for nearly 50 years is that you experience a lot of stuff, including things falling apart. There was a time when I considered myself a respectable handyman (without the title of course). Now I am a bystander. George Simko who just installed a new cover for my bathroom radiator as well as closures for my windows did a great job. Small job, efficiently done. I believe in the god of small things - - well-done and on time. A great combination. As I was penning this review, I remembered my conversation with the late Carl A. Olsson M.D. preeminent surgeon at Columbia University as well as a world class sailor, 23 years ago. ”Mervyn, there are M.D’s and M.D’s as there are plumbers and plumbers. Some are good, some are not. Look around. Get a second opinion, then come to me.” I did. George did not do any plumbing work for me, but what he did as a handyman he did exceedingly well. Did a great job replacing radiator and switching window switches.

I called at 7:30 in the morning and by 11:30 that morning George and Mike were at my house and the job was completed. They are both professional, friendly and courteous. I will definitely call them for anything I need done. I will definitely give their info to friends and family.

George has done multiple projects at my home the largest of which was window replacements for a kitchen/dining room and extensive roof repairs needed to correct damage caused by a raccoon. The windows were scheduled but the roof damage required a quick response due to rain threat. George and his team were there the next day sealing everything up. George?s experience and knowledge of older homes like mine is invaluable and tough to find.
