About us
Hi, Thank you for your interest in The Meticulous Handyman! We're a husband and wife team with a design background and over 25 years experience. We can do just about any project you need done, just ask us! Along with that, we specialize in kitchen and bath remodeling, custom interior painting, expert tile installation, custom trim work, drywall repair, ceiling fan installation, replacement of faucets, toilets, fixing and repairing screens, basic yard work, including removal of shrubs and landscaping, custom built pergolas, gazebos, decks and nearly anything in your home or outside that needs to be fixed. Our name says it all! We pride ourselves on being meticulous and we treat your home as if it were our own. We live in Cape May and cater to our Cape May and Cape May County residents. There's no "Cape May-be" with us. When we say we're going to be there, we'll be there and we do one job at a time till it's completed. We found the Meticulous Handyman through Angi and couldn’t be happier with the experience. After multiple unsuccessful attempts by other contractors to fix our storm door, Kristy and Cal immediately identified the real problem and made the correct repair. The door has never worked better! They also diagnosed and resolved an issue with our kitchen sink drain. Beyond their excellent workmanship, Kristy and Cal have been incredibly responsive and true to their word, qualities that are rare to find. Highly recommend them for any home repair needs!

We hired the Meticulous Handyman to completely remodel our two bathrooms and update our laundry room. The work was truly meticulous down to making sure the house was spic and span when the job was finished. The upfront pricing was clear and concise and we even saved some money based on their recommendations for materials. Because our home is over 150 years old, we expected some issues - and we were not surprised when we found some structural problems. Kristi explained options and was upfront with the additional cost and time to remediate. We always felt totally informed and the job was completed when they said it would. Their craftsmanship was excellent and we recommend them without reservations.

Interior Painting, Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel
In 2021, Christy remodeled a bathroom for me. She fixed my cracked drywall and painted every room in my house. She was quick and neat and my house looks new again. She picked out great tile for the fixtures in my bathroom and it looks awesome. I call her whenever. I have a home project that needs done. I refer her to all my friends.

I was so pleased with their work because they were meticulous with everything they did. They were extremely professional with excellent communication. I had some difficulty with designs especially for my bathrooms and they had wonderful ideas. They were honest about everything they did. When I have more money saved they are the only company I want helping me to finish what l still have left to do.

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel
Kristy remodeled my kitchen in 2021 and my bathroom in 2023. She designed both rooms from start to finish and they're beautiful. She is the best at what she does and her tile work is amazing. I highly recommend her and her company.
