Pete replaced the soil pipe running from the 2nd floor to the basement. This serviced two bathrooms on the second floor, one on each side of the property.
It was an insane job in a house that is 140+ years old but his folks accomplished it in a single day. They came out on a Saturday prior to the job to scope everything out and to ensure we would be out of commission for the least amount of time. There was no charge for the exploration visit and they accommodated us with the Saturday because we are weekenders.
If you have an old house, Pete Leonard is company you want to use. They are not easily intimidated!

The short of the story is Pete Leonard Plumbing threw in the faucet and gas laundry dryer installation at no additional cost and the final price dropped by six hundred dollars.The company is as honest as the day is long. His people are very courteous, very clean and just great good people. We have used him to since 1998. Two years ago we had two huge winter storms and we were afraid of a power outage. It was deep winter and the temperatures were plunging into the low teens. We were afraid of bursting and freezing pipes.I called his emergency number in a panic late Friday night. Pete called me back in a few minutes . We already had 30 inches of snow on the ground. I explained our worries and he personally with Buzz ( a wonderful man) winterized the home early Saturday morning.
I recommend him as the best plumber in Cape May county.Good people, honest and very responsive.There is no ( create a bill ) with Pete Leonard Plumbing. I wish I had his services in north Jersey.

He's very reliable. We're not sure how much he charges for his services because our accountant takes care of that. He bills us per visit. He's a little above average in terms of price but he's dependable, and that's important to us. He calls and he's honest. He's there and he's dependable. We can call a lot of contractors and they'll say that they would show up but they won't show up, but he shows up. We will continue to use him in the future.

I purchased a new faucet for my kitchen and needed to have it installed. It was a 1 person job that should have taken no more than 1 hour to complete. Pete Leonard sent 2 people and it took over 2 hours to complete the installation. One of the people just stood around doing nothing. He Pete Leonard charged me labor for both people. I complained and he sent my money back and said he did not want to do business with us. Up until that time he had opened and closed my house regularly for many years. Did all installations including a new water heater. This service was prompt and, due to my requests, was persistent, but was never successful in fixing our leak. I'm back at square one.

I called the office and told them what I needed. Pete came over and looked at the work to be done. You get a written estimate within a day or two. The work can usually get done in the next couple of weeks. If there is an emergency, the plumbers come right away. They clean up after themselves and the work is guranteed. Great company to work with. The cost may be a little more than some other companies, but it is well worth the price. They come, they are reliable and the work is done on time with little commotion.
