Joe is an outstanding plumber when it comes to older homes. He's very sharp, thorough and a good communicator. He is also great with radiators and got ours working to the best of their abilities in our older home. He has solved many problems for us in our home. However, when we installed newer plumbing fixtures in our home (Hansgrohe and Toto) we ran into trouble, as Joe didn't know what to do with them. He attempted a fix on our Toto toilet, replaced a part with one he had in his truck, which made the toilet noisier and didn't solve the original problem. He did replace the part, we were told with another "Toto" made one but now the issues have grown worse than they were in the beginning. We like Joe, and appreciate his previous work. We will not, however, be using him for the newer plumbing fixtures.

This is the third time we've used Joe's services and we couldn't be happier. We've had a slow drain in our kitchen for 10 years. After a little chemical warfare and a few blasts of CO2 it started flowing a little freer but then a puddle started to appear on the floor, and we noticed that a copper drain pipe had disintegrated. Note that this happened on the Friday afternoon of the Labour Day weekend!
We called Joe and he was in our kitchen in under an hour. The offending pipe was replaced with PVC but the drain was still slow. Joe and his brother snaked out the drain line and flushed it out, removing a rather impressive clog or three. Everything's working fine now, and we contracted to have the leaky faucet replaced with a brand new one this coming week.
As with all quality plumbers the bill was high, but a good craftsman certainly doesn't come cheap, and Joe is by far the best plumber who's services I've ever used. You won't be disappointed!

This is the third time that I have used Joe. I had a joint of the old 4" cast iron drain pipe from the upstairs toilet break. Contacted Joe and he was there the same day and took care of the broken pipe. Due to damage to the floors, I replaced the vinyl flooring in the upstairs bathroom with tile. Joe recommended that I wait until the tile was installed to replace the flange and install the new toilet. (Toilet was replaced for a more efficient model by choice, not due to defect in the old unit.) It was several weeks before the job was done. Contacted Joe and made an appointment for him to return and finish the work.

He was on time, friendly, efficient and professional and as he has the past did a wonderful job. I would strong urge homeowners and businesses in his area to consider him for their plumbing repairs.

My experience went very well. The staff was professional and knowledgeable when I spoke with them. The issue ended up resolving itself so we did not end up needing their services. I would consider using this company in the future, however.

It should be said right away that we've had Joe repair several things on our multifamily house, and he's always been fair and prompt for the 3+ years he's serviced our house.
This review is NOT about Joe, however. It's about his brother - his business partner, apparently - and his complete lack of professionalism. On the day that Joe was supposed to come over and do the evaluation, his brother called and said that they were not coming and that they had overbooked, without even an apology. I was disappointed, since it required us to coordinate access to our tenants' space, as well as make sure we had a radiator on hand. Instead of being apologetic, he cut me off mid sentence and blurted out that we haven't been the easiest customers to deal with, that our doorbell doesn't work and that he had to chase me down for a small balance (which we agreed would be paid once we passed inspection). It was so entirely unprofessional to raise his voice and make such a personal attack... especially when they screwed up!! When I asked him to not get personal, he cut me off again and said that since he's part owner of this company, it's his prerogative if he doesn't want us as customers. I asked if that also applied to the agreement we had for them to renovate the bathroom, and he said yes. When I asked to speak with Joe, he shouted that he's busy and then hung up on me. Nice.
The short of it is, Joe's brother is a blemish on the reputation of Joe the Plumber. If it was only Joe to deal with, I would only have good things to say. But because of this incident, and clearly, because Joe's brother can call the shots at his whim, I cannot recommend this company. Things like overbookings happen all the time, and with a little decorum and professionalism, things get worked out. Sadly, I didn't even get a call back from Joe himself. That just sucks all around.

Joe came for the estimate as promised, we arranged a time for the work and he arrived promptly. He completed the work quickly and the work area was clean when he was done. He demonstrated the use of both pumps. I was very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to call him again if I needed plumbing work done. His price was on the lower end of the other estimates I received and was fair for the work performed.

Good - called two plumbers, he was available next day.  He came the next morning after I called him, and replaced the items mentioned above.

Fast, professional.

Responded quickly, gave quote, performed work as per quote, job well done.
Will use again.

I had purchased the replacement and planned to install it myself. When I was unable to remove the old one, I contact Joe. He came the next day and gave an estimate and indicated that he would be back the next morning due to other commitments. This was not an issue for me. Later the same morning he called to say he was still in the area and his next appointment had canceled and he could come back then and do the job.
He arrived 10 minutes later and replaced the part. He laid down drop cloths where they were working, and all the way out to the door,  and even took the old piece outside to remove the necessary reusable parts to prevent getting dirt on the carpet. He used all the existing parts and fittings where possible.
Before he left he made sure there were no obvious leaks and advised that I leave the cover off to verify that none appeared as the system cycled over the next 24 hours. He also made it a point to indicate that there would be an odor given off since the part was new and it was not a problem and would stop after it cooked off.
Their service was exceptional, clean and very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to friends and would use them again if the need arose.

Nothing to tell...we are always pleased with his work.

Our hot water heater broke the day after Hurricane Sandy hit.  I called a few plumbers, and Joe was quick to respond.  Even though his business didn't have power (we were lucky enough to still have power), he came over that day and tried to get our water heater pilot to light--confirming our heater (21 years old!) was indeed dead.  He said he'd try to get one for us from the distributors if they were open.  The next morning, I got a call at 8:30 AM--he was able to get a water heater for us!  It was installed by 10:30am.  My husband and I were very happy with the quality of work, the friendly attitude of Joe and his team, and the prompt service.  Thanks!!

They did a great job as always.  Always very responsive. We have had them replace a good number of our pipes over the last year as well.  We highly recommend them.
