Designing Gardens Landscape Contractors Inc

Hiring and working with Designing Gardens was the single biggest homeowner mistake I've ever made. Although I checked out his references, I had a terrible experience with him. While removing my old porch, he destroyed some of the siding of my house. When I pointed it out to him, he refused to admit it was his fault, but then eventually fessed up, saying it was unavoidable. In addition, he installed a chipped step-which I did not notice until after it was installed & the cement dried. He refused to change this chipped step and told me that I had no choice but to live with it, since it was cemented in. During the job, he did not show up for a few days and we had to call & track him down. Also, he destroyed my lawn and property while doing the project. Then, a few months after the project was complete, two of our steps became loose. Although he claimed his work was guaranteed for 1 year, I called repeatedly, leaving about 30+ messages on the voicemail until I eventually got a hold of his "office manager" aka wife. Only when I filed a complaint with small claims court did he come to fix the steps. STAY AWAY for this sorry excuse of a contractor/mason/designer.
