Joe and his crew are great.  The best lawn company I've ever used.  Very dependable and easy to communicate with.  I would highly recommend MLC for all your landscaping needs.

MLC Landscaping is an excellent company. We use them for all of our landscaping and handyman needs. They are punctual and their prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend this company if thorough and dependable work is what you are looking for.

When then work was completed, everything looked great, especially the porch which was now completed with pavers on top and along the outside wall.  As far as the arborvitaes that were installed, upon installation one of them looked like it was dying, but the service assured me that it was covered under warranty and they will replace it if it dies.  Well, shortly after the trees were in, the suspected tree died.  I then contacted MCL regarding this fact and they informed me that their supplier was out of them, but they will install it when they come in.  At a later time, I was informed that the trees were in and they would remove the defective tree.  Well, this event never occurred, but due to the current health issues of the foreman ( Mike), I decided to swallow this cost and I removed the tree myself and shifted one over to cover the gap.  A year later ( August 2012 ), I then found that the pavers on the porch wall came down.  It appeared that the installer never pushed them into the contractors glue and therefore they fell upon the ground settling.  I contacted MLC  ( after a number of unanswered emails )  who also confirmed from the pictures that I have sent them that this was a flawed installation and that they would take care of it.  Again, nobody ever called or showed up.  I then attempted calls in September whereby I was finally contacted that someone would come over to check this defect.  Again, nobody showed up.  I then called the foreman directly in October 2012, and twice I was told that someone would be there the next day to check. Nobody showed up.  It is now the middle of November 2012 and I have sent another email to MLC, but again unanswered.  In my opinion, they are just waiting for me to give up which is what has prompted me to find sites such as this which I can post a review.  I still have many emails, phone calls and pictures saved and I am deciding whether to take them to court at this point.  As mentioned in MLC's statement on Angies List, all work is covered by a 5yr warranty.  But it appears that from MCL's standpoint, these are just words.

They are generally efficient.  I have some issues with them right now, but the guy who runs the business is seriously ill and so it is difficult to manage the people.  The boss is very approachable.  If there is any problem or question, he will get back to me and we will work on the problem.
