He was okay. He was very reasonable, and he did a good job. When they came out here to inspect the system that he put in, there were a few things that he did not do. We kept calling him, but he didn't show up. Finally, my husband had the inspector come out to look at it. Gallagher must have come out to see that we had completed that work, and he went to the inspector and told him that he did. I was very annoyed that he lied. There was a pipe that needed to be put outside. My husband had to do the work, because he didn't return our calls. That was my only complaint. I wouldn't recommend him to anybody, strictly because of the poor way he handled that situation. They were the best, price-wise. My husband used to be an air conditioning and heating guy years ago, and he found some things that could've been done better. One time, we had bad weather, so he didn't come out. He didn't even call to let us know; we had to call him. We waited all summer for him to come out to put in the heating part. His communication is bad. He was very professional in his manner, but it wasn't professional of him to take credit for something he didn't do.

When we first moved in to this 30 year old home six years ago we got several estimates for the A.C. system and hot water tank because they were original equipment from when the house was built. Gallagher Mechanical actually told us we did not have to go to the trouble of replacing any equipment at that time. Two years later a compressor failed and was replaced, later the second unit and then the air handler; finally the hot water tank. We were spared an initial outlay of funds when all the others we consulted at the time told us we had to replace all of the equipment immediately. Subsequently, as the jobs were needed they were handled promptly, with little or no inconvenience and well priced. We could not be more pleased with the advice, the services provided and the cost.
