Water-Sheild Waterproofing

I had them come after the hurricanes last year and fix a flooding issue in my 130 year old house. They gave me a real hard sell saying my walls could fall down any day now, and that i should do this immediately. they said they give a lifetime warranty. I was new to being a homeowner and wanted to do the right thing so i bit. When the work was ready to be done, the workers were late, and didn't show up the next day to finish. They finished on the 3rd day, so a day late, but didn't have the backup battery that i had purchased from them. That finally was installed after a couple months of calling them for it. However, it seems they've gone out of business, so my lifetime warranty is worthless. Hopefully their work holds up to the test of time.

They oversold the job, did things which didn’t have to be done, and did horrible damage to our basement.  They made 35 holes in the walls which they were supposed to fill with pins and rebar.  They charged us $250 for each hole and when our engineer uncovered them the holes were empty.  They told us they had been in business for 30 years but when we investigated their licensing we saw that it was only about 2 months old.  I would not recommend this company and hope that this serves as a warning to as many people as possible.
