VILD brings years upon years of design experience to the forefront. From a touch of class in one room, to the sophisticated party in another, to the chic pool party outside, we design more than just layouts. We paint a canvas that clients spend their lives in. We've designed everything from rooms, to apartments, to townhome's, to large homes. Everything from the simple living room or outside deck, to the wine cellar or home theater. Vast resources at arm's length, VILD combines creativity and time with the people to get the job done! Although our home office resides in Northern NJ, we cater to 14 different states including NY, FL, CA, TX , NC, AZ, SC, RI, NV, PA, CT, TN, WA. This is why we’re different…. 1. They, (the design industry) charge by the hour. Leading you to wonder what your paying for and how much. We, charge a fixed price depending on your needs. 2. They, take the designs you discuss and work only within that model, focusing the energy on only that one design. We, offer up to 3 completely unique designs based on your style. 3. They, charge you full price for the furniture and decor you choose, but make a commission on the top due to an industry “trade discount” they have with that store. We, give you OUR discount that we personally get, anywhere from 15-25% with the stores you love, thus saving you more money.

I recently downsized to an apartment and selected VIL Designs to help me decorate. The process was easy and enjoyable, and the result was exactly what I wanted! Andy created the design, then made the modifications I wanted. He came up with brilliant solutions to challenging situations. Everyone I interacted with throughout the process was highly skilled, efficient and a joy to work with. It didn't matter that I live on the opposite side of the country from them. Their process is smooth and easy, and a good value. I highly recommend VIL Designs to anyone wanting to decorate their home or work space.

We have 2 small rooms that are a challenge for us to decorate. My husband is disabled & we require space for his motorized wheelchair, which further limits what we can do. Bryan, the owner, & Dorothy, our designer, listened to our requests & designed 2 beautiful rooms that maximize the limited space. Once we approved the design & furniture, they immediately provided a list of carpenters so we could get started on some built-in cabinetry. We were also provided with a list of all the furnishings & websites so we can purchase what we can afford. We had never used a design team before & I didn't know what to expect, but I'm so happy we did! Now we have a direction & vision of what we can do to truly utilize those rooms. We also have control over the budget & can do what we can afford as time goes on. Bryan & Dorothy were absolutely wonderful to work with & I would definitely use them again!!

We got a complete plan to update our master bathroom for a incredibly reasonable price. We were very satisfied with the work provided and would definitely use this company again if we to update or decorate any other room in our house. Now that we have this plan, it will be so much easier to work with contractors .

It was a great start, I got to choose inspiration images and had a designer devoted to my project. She had great ideas and we really got the ball rolling. Unfortunately, she ended up leaving the company before all of the decisions were finalized on our project. Once alerted that the project was not complete Bryan immediately connected me with someone who could take over. The new designer was in touch within a day or two, asked me questions to get a feel for where we were at in the project and what still needed attention. Her advice was wonderful and matched what I liked to a T. I loved the extra attention she spent on recognizing that we have a exuberant 7 year old boy and 10 year old girl and recommended items that were family friendly, washable when possible, and also pet and stain friendly while keeping with the feel and elegance of the room with practical items within our price range. Some of the suggestions that she made I didn't even know existed (a frame TV, what?!) I have no confidence in my own design skills so I leaned on her to help me make a lot of decision that many would consider minute and other designers probably would have ignored. When the renderings of the design were unveiled, I was elated to see them, however the measurements seemed to be off a little bit. I mentioned it and they were corrected and back in my mailbox within hours. Then, when I was indecisive and made an unexpected change with one of our furniture items last minute, she gave back up suggestions depending on how I went with it. She sent me the link to every.single.item that was proposed in the rendering so I did not have to search on my own. In the meantime Bryan worked hard at getting me the name of the contractors in the area to help complete the project when we did not know who to hire. I would recommend this design team again and again! Very professional, helpful, and really good at their jobs. I can't wait until all of the final touches are on it, and I can host a gathering to show off what a wonderful job it was! Thanks Ashley and Bryan!

Kathryn Sellaro was our Interior Designer and Decorator. I cannot say enough about Kathryn! First of all, we just moved to Maui and Interior Decorating services here are so expensive, limited and very difficult hard to find. I was hesitant to have an on-line decorating service but based on the reviews of Vildesigns I decided to give it a chance. I couldn't be happier! We moved from Orange County, CA to Maui without almost any furniture so I had an entire home I needed to furnish. I didn't realize how difficult it would be to find furniture in Maui, especially due to Covid but Kathryn is full of creative ideas and helped pull it together beautifully. First the 3D renderings she created were amazing and helped to give us vision and direction. She not only helped us find furniture, décor items, art, window coverings, drapery, etc. but she also helped when I found things I liked and let me know if it would work with the bigger picture. We did everything over email and WhatsApp, sending photos and ideas back and forth. I had so many questions and concerns and she was very responsive. In addition to decorating, we are also remodeling a Master Bathroom and her ideas and creativity to tie it in with the theme of the entire home were amazing. We are close to complete and my husband and I are loving the beautiful home she has helped us create. I'd highly recommend doing your interior decorating or remodel through this service and especially Kathryn!

I really appreciated the kindness of all three folks with whom I interacted. The Chief Design Manager was understanding, explained everything very well, and at no time did I find him forceful. He understood my concerns about pretensions within the industry which I developed from prior experience with other designers. Ashley came in to take photos and measurements and was very communicative. Finally, Ashley Berdan did the design. When I had a tough time submitting my likes and dislikes, she showed kindness in allowing me to alter how it was submitted. Her process was simple for me which I deeply appreciate. She took all of my likes and dislikes into consideration and it showed in her design proposal. Even when I found I wasn't allowed to paint dark colors on my wall as a renter, she quickly proposed multiple alternatives, again in a condition of understanding. I'll look forward to sharing photos with the staff as my design progresses from proposal to completion. The price of all this was the best part. Highly recommended!

I worked with Rana Milgrim. Rana is such a lovely person to work with. She has a good eye for design. She downloaded me 2 pictures of how my living room would look if I repainted and added art work on the walls. It was very cute and inspiring. Rana also does one of a kind artwork for your space, if you can afford that luxury. She was also very helpful in finding me upholstery material to recover my chairs , art work and tables. I highly recommend her services.

Measurement person was late. They did not listen to the requirements for the scope so had to do the service again. The design provided is a useless graphic pdf with no post design consultation or discussion.

We wanted professional advice to redesign and furnish our home and selected VILD designs based on the reviews and their promise to provide high quality professional consultation at reasonable price. Ultimately, they could not deliver and refunded me my deposit. They are based in East (NYC) and are short staffed to handle an overload of requests during pandemic. . We had a bad experience as they sent two technicians to measure our home each taking 1.5 hrs. The first one did an incomplete job and had to be rescheduled for another visit. I don't understand why they took measurements when they were unable to handle the project. We have hired many contractors for renovating our home and many of them were able to scale well being local to WA. VILD designs has faced a problem since they are in multiple metros without the capacity to handle the requests. The saving grace was Bryan from VILD design, who worked hard to a maintain good customer relationship, by being profusely apologetic and hearing our concerns.

But again, thats just the headquarter office. Moving on, yes, absolutely. As mentioned, the Pandemic has put our company on a bit of a roller coaster as it has “most businesses” to keep up. However, in our case, it’s been a good problem. The company does such wonderful work (which we are so grateful to continue to do) that we’ve seen such a large influx in business from referrals and exposure that we actually had to stop to hire even more designer’s on the team. We would never want to take on a project that we couldn’t dedicate 150% to as always maintaining individual client focus is our goal. Ultimately, at the time, the demand was growing quicker than the company. Once again, we very much appreciated your patience and understanding at that time. VILDesigns offers fantastic value for the interior design services provided! Before finding VILDesigns, I had talked to several other interior designers in the local area, all of which charged between $105-$180/hour and estimated 20-30 hours for my project. By offering a flat rate per room, VILDesigns beat out the nearest competitors by a long shot. And they still offered fantastic interior design renderings of my spaces! Already booked them for another room!

It went exactly as I would have hoped! I had a space in my house, the first room you walk into upon entering my house, that I needed professional help in creating a welcoming, finished space that the family could still enjoy. VILDesigns utilized the space and put pieces in places to create exactly what I was looking for. I am always getting compliments on this room now when people enter my home. Highly recommend!
