Very professional, very responsive. Any time I need them I call, and they are here within a couple of days. The technicians are very nice and very helpful. I would recommend them.

Overly priced and difficult to work with.
I called two other companies to get estimates for ant and carpenter bee treatment. When I called Viking as third to compare with, they said they would send someone out to give me a free estimate. They showed up on time and were very nice.
On the day they came out, their price was $415 (including tax) for the initial treatment to get started plus $35 for, what I thought was, each following quarter for one year. When they were here, they put down ant granular treatment outside my home and clear gel ant treatment inside my home to get started for the ant problem right away; their responsiveness was great.
However, everything else about their service was awful!! The guy did NOT explain the pricing clearly, even though I asked him to go over it with me a few times. I was left thinking that I would pay $415 to get started for the initial treatment and then $35 for each following quarter. This was somewhat in the same ballpark as the other two estimates - a little higher, but close enough so I was OK with it. When the office manager called me the next day to setup the carpenter bee service appointment, I asked her to make sure I was only paying $415 and then $35/quarter. She said no, it was $415 to get started and then $35 per month for the rest of the one year service! So I paid $415 and then $385 ($35 * 11 remaining months) for a total of $800 for the year. The other two estimates I received were $400/year and $600/year, and they both covered much more pest treatment. She also said that the sales man did not use their currect contract form which is why this was all so confusing about where the $35 came from. I asked her if Viking would price match either of the other quotes I received, and she said no and the only thing they can do is give us 30 days for $415 and cancel the yearly membership for $35/month. I am outraged at how difficult and expensive Viking turned out to be. So now I have paid $415 for 30 lousy days and am starting new service with another company that is must lower in price but covers all pests and bees. Plus, we still have ants and bees!!!
After Viking did treat my home, we immediately started to get carpenter ants. I called and asked Viking about this, why the small odorous house ants are gone and the carpenter ants have appeared, and they couldn't tell me any reason why and that it would be an additional charge to treat the carpenter ants! I obviously told her no way and that I feel they should treat the caprenter ants since they appeared right after their treatment for the odorous house ants. After my own research, carpenter ants are "cave dwellers" meaning that they will occupy left over spaces from other insects in addition to making their own nests inside moist, decaying or hollow wood. If Viking knew what they were doing, they absolutley should have included treatment for the the carpenter ants after treating the odorous house ants, knowing this could happen among the two insects.
So despite this mixup on Viking's end, for not using the correct contract, and not explaining the pricing correctly, I am out $415 for thirty days worth of service. Also, they were aware we are new home owners with a newborn, and they were still unwilling to work with us. Pretty heartless and unprofessional, compared to other companies that gave us an extra percent off as they understood how we could especially use the discount. So now I am paying again for another company to come start over. I will never use Viking again and have been telling my friends and family to NEVER use them.

They were very good.  They just stay outside and treat the outside of the house.  The result of their work is very good.  We don’t have any insects anymore inside.  We had problems with ants last year, we just called them and they came out and treated it for free.  If you have insect problems in between their visit, they will come and treat it again for free.  They are prompt and if you have any problem, they will address it right away.   Their price is comparable to everyone else and they are not any less expensive or more expensive.  We don't have to set an appointment, they just come.

They did very good. The price is a little high, but they do good work! I got a discount for being an Angie's List member.

Their service did absolutely nothing to help with the spiders in our new home.  They came twice, and it did not help.  They would not refund me.  They are way overpriced, and their chemicals do NOT get rid of a few lousy spiders.

To be honest, their prices are all the same when you go to a pest control company.  I kind of looked up all the company, and I read everything about this one.  I like their website, and I like that I got them right away.  They came right away, and there was no waiting time.  I read everything that they had compared to other websites.  They were very knowledgeable, and they gave me the information that I needed.  That was the reason why I called them. 

I was very satisfied with them. They are a very good company. They knew what they were talking about and my person of contact in the company was very professional.

I did not like their services. They could not get rid of the bugs. They were expensive too.

I saw the dead termite bodies and asked them to come out to check it out.  They checked it all out and told me that I didn't have termites, that they were from before and they were just the dead bodies.  The exterminator threw the bodies out then went around the foundation and sprayed.  I like their honesty.

I’m very happy with them.  I don’t remember how much they charged me for their services but it was reasonable.  I like their good service and reasonable price.  3.48 to 3.53.  They gave me a good price and they did a good job.  I felt like they knew what they were doing.

When he first came out he did a walk through with us explaining everything to us. There  is a service we really wanted but was unable to get from them because we have  well water so that was disappointing. They do a good job.

I have been using Viking Pest Control for three years. I am not happy with them, I am looking for a new company. They changed their applications all the time. They sent me a bill for June first and they have not even been out yet. So, I am going to get a nasty letter from them. They are very good when it comes to pest control. They are always sending out a new tech and I waste forty-five minutes showing the new tech where I need the applications. They seem to have a high turn over. It is a split. They do good quality work, the techs are friendly. They have this weird billing thing going. I will continue to use them until I find someone else.

There services are very reasonable. If we have any follow up issues they will come back out without hassle. The worker are friendly and provide professional services.

They are very good. When I told them I was pregnant they put us on a priority list so if we need something they come right out.

Viking Termite and Pest Control is very thorough and very forward. We had a problem with termites 14 months ago and they controlled it very quickly. I think they have too many customers that they cannot accommodate them all the same day so you may be waiting for a couple of days before they can come if you have an emergency. If they tell you they will be there, they will be there.

They come without being reminded. They show up when they are supposed to without me having to call them. We have not noticed any insects since the time they started, what we called them for, doing the treatment. It’s very effective. I would use them in the future.

I am very satisfied with their service. I have not had any problems since I first hired them about 8-10 years ago.

The only complaint I have was that occasionally they show up on a time when I was not expecting them and I would be leaving for work sometimes and they would be showing up. But they do a pretty good job. They come in when we have any problems. I can call them off contract and they would come out, they took a look at what I had. They were pretty neat and covered their shoes when they came in. They always ask me if I had any problems so that if they need to treat something while they were there, they will do it. They were reasonable according to them.

I have been a Viking customer for a year and a half. I have been disappointed numerous times by the responsiveness of their office staff and their approach to the billing process. On multiple occasions they alleged that I was late in making payments meanwhile they were being paid automatically through my debit card. I had asked for a summary of my services and they were not able to provide it. I feel that I am being grossly overcharged for the services provided and will cancel as soon as my service contract is up. I have always been pleased with the actual service provided by the service guys. Always friendly and do a good job. Interesting to note that one of them admitted that Viking was charging me for the application of the same chemical but for different pests.

They removed the nest and the ants. He didn't give up til he took care of it and I haven't seen a carpenter ant since.
