Admittedly, I had worked with Earl Swenor and his crew once before. My move was different on the two occasions. The first was a full-blown move (4 people, all possessions, everything!), where the second move was just the heavy and bulky things.
Earl was always willing to provide competitive quotes, regardless of the job size.
His crew was careful with my things, re-assembled appliances and furniture efficiently and were always respectful of my space.
Merit came very highly recommended from the local storage facility (Stowaway), and I found the recommendation to be spot-on. Merit has the presence of a big mover, with the flexibility to assist in any capacity, even if it is a partial move.
I am extremely grateful to Earl and his team for taking big stress out of the move, will use them again myself if needed, and would sincerely recommend them to anyone, whether the move is big or small.
This is also a great way to support local business in north central New Jersey.
Earl and his guys showed up on time (8am) and just got down to work loading up the truck with our boxes. By lunch time they had everything on the truck and ready to drive the 20 minutes to our new place. 3 guys moved the entire house quite quick.
It wasn't the best day for weather, overcast and rainy pretty much all day long,but they got it done. Earl was great and very cool about everything and the entire ordeal was over by around 5:30. Way faster and better than we could've done.
