Copperhead deserves an A++ rating. I have been a customer for over twenty years. EVERY instance has been "Best in Class". But this latest episode takes the gold ring! Early Friday evening water backs up in basement. The owner/operator immediately calls me back to walk me through the urgent issue at hand. We did "tele-trouble shooting" then "tele-fixing"...Problem solved! This is what's called going above and beyond. I repeat A++, consistent A++.

Every time I’ve called them, they respond quickly, understand my need for services quickly, especially when pipes freeze or drains clog or hot water heaters die, they show up on time, act professionally, alleviate my stress and provide great service with reasonable prices. Copperhead tried to talk us out of the 'big' project of analysis, design, and correction for quite a while. They are very prompt when problems occur, so we took their advice every time a stoppage occurred. Then we told them it would be worth the time and money to us to fix the systemic problem once and for all. They corrected the plumbing problem replacing some runs with PVC and changing several 90 degree junctions with Y-connections. They had to go through the wall and ceiling to make the changes. They even did the demolition in such a way that the wallboard pieces were intact and ready to use again. My neighbor, who has the same style house and similar problems, took my advice and hired Copperhead too.

Furnace blower was noisy, and had stopped once. It restarted after cycling the power. Also had a prior problem with AC compressor. I called Copperhead to inspect. Technician thought the blower fan was rubbing the side of the housing, and if it stopped in the wrong spot, it would get stuck. He wedged a towel under the housing. Also replaced a relay for the compressor. He said the blower motor had irregular resistance readings, but thought it was OK. He seemed uncertain of the blower diagnosis and that it was rubbing, and after making repairs said that actually maybe it wasn't rubbing. Charged $400 for the work. Said that replacement of the blower motor would be $800, and recommended replacing the furnace if it ever went. The day after the technician's visit, the blower motor died completely, with a bad odor coming out of the furnace. I took apart the blower and housing, no evidence the blower fan was ever rubbing, and the towel he wedged in would not have impacted alignment of the blower fan to the housing. Suspect he just felt he had to do something to justify the repair time. I was disappointed that he wasn't able to identify that the blower motor itself was faulty and the source of the loud noise and squeaking. I ordered a blower motor myself, $250 part, along with a $15 run capacitor. About one hour of relatively easy labor, and furnace is up and running again, and quiet now. Giving low rating because of poor diagnosis, and they wanted more for the blower motor repair than was justified.

All work was performed in an exceptional fashion. They were punctual, neat, informative. They are not the cheapest, but when you consider the quality workmanship provided, they represent an exceptional value. They were very creative in solving some unique problems and challenges.

Copperhead provides outstanding customer service, and their employees take pride in their work. Tom, the owner is not the typical plumber, instead, he takes time to explain the problem/solution. And his employee, Ben, is a hard worker who takes pride in his work. He should because he is a fantastic plumber.

A gentleman named Joe came to replace the regulator. He showed up on time and thoroughly diagnosed the problem and explained the scope of work required. Finished earlier than expected and even helped with another minor problem at no extra cost. Very professional and highly recommended.

Nancy in the office was quick to book the service call and Ben did a great job fixing our plumbing issue. He was on time, personable, professional, and explained the process throughout. He was also happy to answer any questions. In fact, this job went so smoothly he finished early and was eager to answer any other general questions we had, and showed us one quick thing we had a specific question on. We just felt like he was someone who genuinely cared about helping us out and sharing his knowledge. Copperhead will be our go-to going forward, can't say we have too many of those in NJ.

The repair person was punctual, clearly explained what needed to be done, the job was completed promptly, and the heating system has worked well since the repair was completed.

This was a checkup of system that was working. Since there was no apparent problem to correct, it's hard to objectively assess the quality of the service. However, I have used Copperhead Plumbing for other services (water heater, plumbing work) and trust them for quality and for price.

Very punctual and plumber explained everything they did and related it to code enforcememt. Very professional and had a notebook of set prices for specific services so it was standardized. I appreciated and also got a 1st time discount.

In the peak cold, our furnace ignition stopped. Copperhead responded within hours and were able to fix the issue in time. They explained properly what went wrong and gave other general guidelines for the condition of the furnace. They got the exact parts from outside instead of approximate fits from their van toolbox. Very professional experience right from call handing to actual fixing of issue.

Nick came out and did the annual service and replaced float air vent. Then he put a great amount of effort into getting the air purged out of the system. He answered all the questions I had about about the system. In the end everything works great and the system is as quiet as it has ever been since I lived in the house (no air in hot water pipes). Thanks for your persistence Nick. Price was reasonable as well.

The plumber was professional, knowledgeable, and neat. He carefully explained the problem and talked through the potential solutions with me so I could determine how I'd like the repair done. We will call Copperhead for future plumbing work!
